Interesting module and DIY speaker. I would mount 2 tweeters (stereo) on top of the speaker, pointing forward. I suspect it's mono as it is.
Yes, like I use it it's mono for sure. But probably also by adding tweeters it's still mono, as it only has one tweeter output. Maybe the amplification itself is already mono.

That hiss you are talking about could be the soldering you did, touching some part its not surpose to. check it out, if you haven't done so.
I thought about that, but did a bit of online research and it seems they just have a really high gain from the design. Only thing that can be done is to change some component values, to lower the gain, but then you will also lower the maximum volume.
Is the noise that noticeable or is it not too bad? Have you found the solution for it? Or have you found a better board? Trying to build a boombox and I don't really like the "bluetooth ready to pair" voice thing
It's noticeable at lower volume. I did not fix it and did not search for a different board. I am using it as is.

is it loud with good range for speaking outdoors in traffic? can you do a distance test? These are good things to know like how it sounds and how far.
It's really loud and reproduces well all the frequencies. About the distance, not possible to do a test as it's in another city and I only go there once a couple of months.

This particular one I don't think so. Try to search directly a stereo model.
I have a creative s750 gigaworks, there is a way to don't cut the rear and link the 2 exit on a bluetooth adapter ? Considering that amplifiers is inside the subwoofer the rca output should also be linked to bluetooth adapter... resistence of speaker is 8 Ohm

@@UltimateDIY I have a creative soundworks s750 and want convert it to wireless... each speaker has the input as your speaker, but I don't want cut the rear cover as You have done and don't want solder the cable extremity with the board... how can I do it ? Moreover I want know if there is a single transmitter to plug the 6 speaker rca output that sends signal to single receiver of each speaker

I don't think this is the right module for you. You need a bluetooth transmitter module and bluetooth recievers.
