when Love Story was released in 1981 i was a kid of 12. The songs still draw me back to those days of romance and beauty. I will always remember Gaurav and Vijayeta and over all those years, from the 1980s till date, i have always spoken in praise of them to my friends, and later to my students. I lost my friend to cancer previous year. He had a small kid of three years and belonged to a poor family. He worked hard and became a UNICEF consultant. He had a big family and did everything he could do for his family.
Adesh is no more....so sad! Now the lives of his beloved wife and children have become difficult. Unfortunately Vijayeta did not get what she deserved as a singer. I pray to God that children see the success in their lives and make their mother happy.
She sings so soulful. Why don't musicians give her work, instead of offering sympathy? In any case, log hard core aur Amrita Fadanvis aur Ranu Mondal ko sir par bitha lete hein, toh jinmein pratibha hai, unko kaam dena toh banta hai
Such a beautiful and loving couple! It's like in the movies! This lady, a beautiful actress and singer herself, the daughter and sister of renowned musicians, is such a simple and humble lady. She has gone through very tough times, be it wrt her own career, the tragic life of her sister, whom she supported and even the loss of her sister and brother in law and then the biggest blow of losing her husband to cancer. It is heartbreaking to read and watch their interviews about Aadesh ji's first victory against cancer, especially the interview with Komal Nahta. It seemed to them like everything would be fine after that. It would have been so terrible for Aadesh ji and their family to go through everything all over again and then lose the battle. God bless the family.
