    For ppl who think he's sitting in prison for 70 years he's not. I found the actual sentence online. "The defendant pled guilty and was sentenced on August 4 to 70 years, with the first 25 years to be served in confinement and the remaining 45 years to be served on probation."

    Thank God she survived that horrific attack, she seems like a lovely person. Hope she gets the inner healing she needs. Good to see that the police, jury, and the judge got this case right from the start. A shame that man didn’t go for serious help when he realized what was taking over his mind and heart.     70 years of imprisonment is extremely excessive and certainly an asinine prison sentence. There is absolutely no need for a prison sentence that long. Perhaps the judge should be the one who is sentenced to 7 decades in prison or be given the DP to see how he or she likes it. My full condolences goes out to Rodney Metzer. I know of a person one time gotten a 140 years sentence down to 25 years so nothing is impossible.

      @@chrish7308 I'm not talking about court leniency because they had a rough childhood. Sometimes, in severe prolonged physical abuse cases, when the woman has been beaten for years, and she finally snaps and kills or attacks her husband, they take that into consideration. It's a bit like a self defense case. If someone attacks you and you kill them in self defense, there's usually no sentence or sometimes probation.

      Again I'm not saying 25 years is too much for his crime. What I'm saying is that we live in an age where a group of people rob and destroy a store, and a cop is there just watching it. Some of those attack the store workers hurting them as much as she was hurt in this video. Yet, none of them get prosecuted. No one ever even goes after them. What's just wrong with our judicial system? You do the same crime - one judge gives 2 months and another gives 20 years. If you can frame your crime under certain social movement, no one goes after them even when they burn down a store. Someone needs to something about our judicial system.

    This whole thing has nothing to do with Batman. It's about a loser who beat his wife. He probably saw the Scream movies way too many times as the killers in the Scream movies use voice altering devices.
