My early UA-cam unfortunately wasn't the most hyped 😂
      Glad you're appreciating it!

Been following you on Twitch for a while, and finally got around to watching this series. I love it! I do some of these things, but certainly not all of them. And as I test for tournaments at the end of the month, I need to hear and see these things. Thank you and keep it up! Subbed so I don’t miss this awesome series you are making!

I like to switch up the deck that I bring to my local shop every time, and not planning out in advance how I’ll win is definitely a key weakness of mine. It leads to the feeling of every match being a rollercoaster that I’m not in control of, which isn’t particularly fun.

Yeah it does not sound super fun for every game to feel so random like that, hopefully this helps!

I usually plan to take one prize by pointing behind my opponent and saying "hey is that Mellow Magikarp?!" then take a prize when they turn to look. Doesn't work on PTCGO unfortunately.

This is especially important against control, mill, wall, etc. Any tips for mapping/planning against alternative win cons?

The same strategy should be used but in addition you have to think about what they want to do and prevent them from doing that. For example, Munchlax control wanted to trap something active so not giving them something to trap is good, hand lock has to pull off big combos so using Marnie or Boss every turn to KO their draw engine is the best strategy

@@MellowMagikarp that’s great advice. I just had a game this morning against caturday where I kept my bench empty the whole time, and it shut them down the whole game cause they had no good way to attack the active. Then I foolishly benched something when I had one prize left, thinking I’d get the win that turn, and it allowed them to gust with phione and ko my only attacker 🤦‍♂️ I snatched defeat from the jaws of victory
