I think it's so sad that this is a reality for many of us. Especially if you also had a deadbeat dad. I remember sharing all this information with my BD when I was pregnant and this guy reassured me so many times that he would never abandon his own blood. In fact he was more present in my pregnancy from the beginning until I gave birth. When our son was born, that's when I starting seeing less and less of him. I tried reaching out so many times and I give up. It's been 2 years now, I've been sending emails like a crazy human being because he also blocked me on Whatsapp and other socials. I am in a much better space now. I have healed and I am slowly starting to accept this reality. It's sad. It's so sad that we are pleading with them to have a relationship with their own children. We are even offering DNA tests and letting them know we got our children financially and that they don't have to worry about that🤦🏾.
