Hi, where can I download this repair manual you used or access it online. Any reference link please?
It's probably alldata or mitchell
What’s in the squeeze bottle for the valve test? Just wondering. And I’m guessing you already cleaned the head gasket mating surface before the video?
Thanks for comment,
There is petrol in the bottle for valve test,I had already cleared the cylinder head and if I make a video of it too, the video becomes too long
1) i dont see you use any plastic guage to measure clearance for main or rod bearing,is there a reason why you have not measured.
2) for oil ring (no 3) the one that has wavy pattern, does that have side to go up. or it can be insalled in either side.
3) I also see that all rod cap have numbers, do you know why the rod cap cant be interchanged.
4) do you also know why the dot on piston should always face front of engine, is there a reason behind that.
5) do you measure pistong ring gap.
6) what is the best way to clean valves and intake runners.
Can you explain how to properly identify and select the connecting rod bearing sizes/ mark system - for the 2grfse engine, assuming the numbers printed on the original bearings are worn off.
Bearings with no markings are standard size
Hello, what was the purpose of the sealant on/ under the headgaskets?
To seal the head and cylinder block and chain cover
@MayoCarsDR thank you. Why only those spots and no where else?
Very helpful video thank you bro
Thanks for comment and watching Video 😊
Toyota lexus doesn't recommend resurfacing the heads. I am interested to know how your build turned out. Its looks like those heads were surfaced, are they and did it work out?
A machine shop that i use for subarus resurfaces these heads all the time no problems
@@adamdistortion8810 i recently got heads resurfaced but my timing mark on the crank does not line up. Did you have to skip a tooth on the crank counter clock wise for the timing marks to align or does it not matter as long is the chain is lined up to the timing marks?
Good wakes
