I'm a proud Indian but today I felt that we have never been independent since britishers left We are unable to get rid of their culture & accept our own culture. It's very shameful for such a country which was a cultural hub at it's golden period, to abandon it's own culture and blindly follow what his caucasian master taught them during the colonization.

Training ship Jawahar of Sea cadets in Mumbai is located at Pilot bunder. You need to take bus from CST or Churchgate in Mumbai going to RC church. Need to get down at Pilot bunder stop
British culture is way different. Most of the song's navy band plays is Indian songs but little militarised version of it. Don't say you are talking about uniforms. 99% navy outfit designs in world are like these . This is part of our culture now accept it.

I thought the sailor uniform was a Japanese thing ,so it was British all along .

They had sailor collar and scarf uniform until 60s, I've seen it in the videos. I don't know why they stopped wearing traditional sailor uniform.
