Gr8 video but u didn't tell like when is the best time to change the engine? When it is not starting or when its become less powerful i bought one used Kyosho inferno rc with unfortunately very low compression and due to that the engine is not starting at all is there any eay to start the engine with bad piston because i check the part is not available the engine looks clean but no power to start
Hey last question for you man you seem like you know your stuff, I’m a new subscriber so I don’t know if you have a video on this. I was browsing .21 nitros online what’s the main differences between a $99 engine and a $400 one? Just build quality? More power or less power? Reliability? Thanks
The main difference between the really cheap and high end engines is the quality of the materials, the higher end engines are hardened better and most expensive .21s have a dlc coated crank which is a special coating that basically makes the crank last forever. So you’ll typically notice with the more expensive engines is they start and tune easier, run more consistent and last a real long time. I’ve also noticed the more expensive engines are faster as well because they took the time and developed them more.
@@thenitronation5815 excellent info! I sent a link to your channel to a friend of mine we are thinking about getting kits and getting back into the hobby, what is your personal favorite nitro engine brands?
rajaa111 dang that sucks. I used to get vp for about $20 a gallon but I cannot get it no longer so now I used Byron or sidewinder. Byron is really expensive in my area though like $70 a gallon
and so nitro kids, what do we learn from this? :) don't EVER get yourself traxxas nitro fuel. it will schmutz your engine. basically cover it in shit. PS: i am not a traxxas hater. its just their fuel mixture that isn''t great.
Proud to be part of the Nitro Nation. Great info on all vids. Detailed and well explained. Teaching me loads, many thanks..
Ka Dodge my pleasure
Just Got my Self O.SMax .21 TM for a new Tmaxx 3.3 Im Buying. These Dynamite engine i like as well. I use VP Racing as well Master Baster.
Looks like it held up pretty good for the amount of fuel through it.👍
MrLilchilly yeah it’s not bad but I think it’s time to give that OS a try
Where did u find those makeshift caps you put on the engine I need to get some of them thank you

YO Vlogs if the rest of the engine is in great condition you can get the piston and sleeve sent out to get re pinched.

Not bad for 6 gallon, I heard the vp fuel is going up about 20 across the board

JuanDiego Rodríguez Alvarado I go right to horizon hobbies www.horizonhobby.com/21-rtr-engine-w-ps-dyne0570
The Nitro Nation , thanks again hope you reach 200 subs and more
JuanDiego Rodríguez Alvarado thanks brotha really appreciate it
Is Traxxas crap fuel?
Worst I’ve used anyway.
How old are you kid if i mind asking
Ben Calligan I’m in my senior year of high school so I’m under 20 lol
Ok cool

can you give me that head button
You motor will last long if you use anything but vp be 9% oil is wayyyy to low I run 20 oil 15 nitro
I disagree, you’ll be surprised at how much better your engine will run with anything between 20-30% nitro and 9-12% oil
@@thenitronation5815 9% oil is still a lot, compared to 2 strokes that run on 50:1
you dont need rebuld this engine just get new dynimite engine
Parts were free to rebuild so why not 🤷♂️
