I was a gourd artist (not crafter) for a long time...but am now eager to learn how to wet felt a vessel to be able to continue my visions but on FELT. get some wool, add some soapy water and start rubbing. That's all you need

Could I ask why you tend to work with 3 layers per side - 2 vertically and one horizontally (or 2 radiating out and 1 radiating round the resist)? Other felt artists I've seen have all worked with 4 or in some cases 8 layers - but always an even number.

I figure you made it but the second layer of brown, was that store purchased prefelt cut to match what you made? I love the contrast with shadow to bright colors 🤗
Also, I didn't think the 2 layers would felt together like that. Did it work because of the tooth or whatever that the wool had?
