Your new plan is very concerning. As an older man living alone and looking for a new adventure, you are a perfect target for scammers but you do you Rusty; it's your life. I've been watching your channel for years and everything about this plan is out of character for you, especially living with a stanger! Think about doing a background check on the woman you are dealing with. She clearly has you figured out if she convinced you this is a good idea. Please don't allow yourself to be manipulated by anyone. Just sayin.
Have been watching your channel for years. This is definitely out of character of your normal activities. You’ve got a great place in Fort Clark. Give it a lot of thought, sounds like there may be some scamming going on here. Best of luck.
Lake Chapala has one of the world's best climates which is why there are so many expats. Not 2 million, more like 30-40,000 depending on the time of year. Ajijic(ah-he-heek) is the most expensive town on the lake but is very nice. A lot of expat services in the area including an English lending library. Overall it's safe but there have been a few murders over the years. Great walking by the lake.
I know there's a growing Gay community developing in that area. I know they have frequent power outages. You have to pay to use public toilets and bring your own toilet paper. The cobble stone streets are very hard on vehicles. I had a friend that lived there and he stated cost of living is not as cheap as it once was. Prices are going up.
Wow! Happy travels Rusty. I just want to know is, once you’ve moved to Mexico and you’ve already sold your motorhome and the Carizozo property and while living in Mexico you end up selling your Fort Clark Springs property thinking you’ll never move back to the States , what are you going to do if, say in February 2026, you decide to move back to the States ? Do you have what RVers call an exit plan or backup plan if after selling off everything to live in Mexico and now you want to move back to the States?
Wow, I watched this & it doesn't sound like a good fit for anyone. A polluted lake? 90's in May? Ick. He definitely needs to hang on to something here to come back too.
Get top dollar for that RV and property. You'll need a good wad. A rental place in a cool climate, tourist area during summer will burn through the cash.
I have been living part time in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 started with a 9 day vacation back in 1998. I wouldn’t recommend anyone selling everything and moving to another country without first testing it out and seeing if you actually enjoy the culture and experience. Just saying. You do you.
Rusty, if you plan to bring your car to Mexico, you’ll need to get a Temporary Import Permit (TIP). Ask your friend about it, I’m sure they’ll know about it. There are plenty of videos about it on UA-cam too. I’ve owned a home in Mexico since 2007, let me know if I can help.
Lake Chapala is nice. The lake is polluted, as they say, so dont swim ir fish in it. But all the expats and Guadalajara peopöe who vacation there sure don't mind.
Señor tenga cuidado si viene a mi país Translation Sir be careful if you come to my country. Señor, consideraría darle diez abuelos por su lugar en Nuevo México.
I never expected this channel to turn into a love story set in Mexico. You just never know.

What in the world is wrong with Cloudcroft, Ruidoso, and Carrizozo! You got ants in your pants. Mexico just sounds like a bad idea.
Never been to Mexico. Look forward to seeing your videos there.
Always remember you are never alone because wherever you go there you are, and so are we!

“Two roads diverged in a wood and I took the road less traveled by, and that has made all the difference” Robert Frost.
That rear view mirror view reminds me of watching a 40/50's movie with a filmed background in the scene.
I have lost track of what is for sale. Class C? Fiat? Trailer? Van? NM Property?
no, you got 'em all
@@rusty78609 I now get to deduct a Fiat and add a Prius. Much better vehicle.
So excited that you have decided to entertain the possibility. Hoping for the best possible outcome for you Rusty.
Rusty, we want you happy, but, please be aware,😢
Keep us updated. Great content.
For years I've wondered how long it was going to take for you to get to Mexico.
Please be careful Mr Rusty with people you just met- especially at your age, just say’n
There's so many scammers out there and personally he's doing a bit much all of the sudden.
@ agreed, a bit much really fast is never a good sign
Fascinating content tho.
I admire your motivation for life Rusty.
Going to Mexico? Eh.........seems like I've heard there are folks risking their lives leaving there!
Great video Rusty. You’re willing to try👍. How exciting this will be. “She”? Lucky señorita.
You should look into Thailand, very cheap, they mostly speak English. Lots of expats. Plenty of videos on UA-cam. Good luck in Mexico !
Will you be driving your new Ford van to Mexico just in case you need a place to sleep?, since brand new compared to the Fiat.

That's a good question, I'm not worried about it.
Tomorrow is not guaranteed, have fun and enjoy life. I agree 💯 with Rusty. Life’s short and change it up.
Rusty your fickle factor is spiking. I'm sitting and watching. Like how you roll

Traveling, Traveling and More Traveling, Sir!
The amazing "Fickleman" at it again.
Somebody's tailing you, Rusty. I can see him in your mirror. He's wearing a black baseball cap, a red tee shirt, and wearing glasses.
I am riding with you.😊
oh man, be careful senor.
Been there.. traffic mess, polluted water and a bunch of californians.
Get top dollar for that RV and property. You'll need a good wad. A rental place in a cool climate, tourist area during summer will burn through the cash.
Planning the adventure is more enjoyable than doing it.
🇲🇽
Crowded dusty, dirty, can't eat the fish, language barrier, expensive ...go for it. Just peachy beachy.
Wow
Nice to change your life as the same things are so boring. Be careful and good luck
Rusty, if this plan actually goes through don't forget to leave your "mind changers" in the U.S. You don't want to get caught with them in Mexico.
Rusty,Rusty,Rusty please do no not become another senior victim to these southern senorita's
¡Bien viaje a México! 🇲🇽
