I haven't had a Doctor in twelve years - it may be why I'm still alive. I'm not on 10 different prescriptions.
And saving money on prescriptions (you probably didn’t qualify anyway) but still pay for the pharma/dental plans.
I also lost my family doctor over 10 years ago and can not find another, just lists to put my name down.
Same with my sister who lives near Peterborough! She’s been wait 10+ years but nothing has happened out her way. She’s not well right now and having to see a different doctor can be taxing as she’s always telling every new doctor what’s been happening with her and no one knows what’s up or down bc they all do things different and there is no constant doctor who can know what’s really going on with her health! It’s just push this drug, try this other drug, etc.! It’s one bloody mess with this current health care system in Ontario right now! Holland should get out of his clown clothes and actually visit some of these out of town clinics and hear what’s actually happening! Time to get this clown out soon!! 🔥🔥

Holland, I am in my 70s and most people I know have no family doctor.
If I was a young doctor or a future medical graduate within the next couple of years, I would seriously consider moving my skills and practice to another country where the taxes, the opportunity to run a successful business, the chance to invest in my future and the fact that I would be respected for adding to the value of the community would all be better. Staying in Canada is not an option especially when you lose 2/3rds of your practice value to the government.

Going from 50% to 67% is not a little more, unless it is an increase in my Canada pension and old age security. In the last 5 years I have not gotten a 17% increase in my Canada Pension or my Old Age Security.
