I'm always amazed, seeing you starting from your sketch to these amazing pieces of art. You make drawing look so easy but then I try it and I'm like "what am i doing" lol.
What kind of brush do you use to do the fur?
Hey, plenty of stuff I draw, is being drawn while thinking "what am I doing" ;3 it's all about being able to improvise when coming across stuff you have no idea about. And for good improvisation, it helps to have a good visual library of artwork similar to the stuff you're trying to achieve. ( i.e. collect art you find cool, look at lots of different stuff! Try to absorb bits and pieces as you go along, so that you can mix it all into one big soup)
The brush I use is "miekka 1" from this pack remarin.deviantart.com/art/Free-Brushes-2015-534474486 for the rough shapes when shading,, I later move on to a simple round brush "hard round 9 1" (can be found in many packs) to do clean edges and some details.

I got an Intuos a year ago, and I can't still improve my lines to look smooth and clean as yours. Any tips for improving? I love your art!
I love watching your whole process. How long does it take to finish your rough sketch?
I luckily still have the original recordings so I could check: ~25 minutes including the stuff I did before I hit record I would guess. But sketching-time can heavily depend on the subject. If I struggle with the angle, I might need a full hour to get everything to look more or less right. When I know that I'll be adding lots of details later on, I'll put in as much time as necessary for the sketch. You wouldn't want to be halfway done with the shading and suddenly realize that you drew the muzzle in a different perspective than the rest of the face D:

It's called Photoshop elements.10 ! You can buy a more recent version,, last time I checked it was called "elements. 2018"
