11:05 You can't aim at specific points of a submarine to get a detonation because they should practically detonate anytime, anywhere they get hit. :p

but that is my opinion
Any hit when a submarine is submerged should result in flooding IMO.
@@JamesPolymer Most of the over-penetrating shots on the surface ships should as well. ooh but you know... historical accuraccy or some other bullshit they find to be a suitable excuse at the given day.

Somebody should probably tell Boggzy that subs have those torpedoes, which are basically a 300-500 kg explosive charges with a screw at the end, and these babies sit firmly in subs torpedo launchers in bows and sterns (usually), covered by a removable covers of steel (a few mm in thickness). So its actually pretty obvious (perhaps not for Boggzy, but still) where you should aim to have a chance of hitting a 500 kg of f...g explosive.
i believe boggzy knows that but as he is an employee of WG he HAS to say what they tell him

I can't still decide if it's worst trying to engage at 10 seconds with 0 HP and a sure win in the pocket, or choosing to torp instead of firing, or the Salem shooting HE.
Seems like an endless escalation of stupidity that's just painfull to watch.
I will never believe there are "thinking" people behind those decisions, they seems like random things done at random times in random conditions. Like a bot going around, doing things that's all folks
i had a game where, there was a graff spee (teammate) and a fuso left on the game, we had 3 points, graff just caped the last one and just needed to stay hiddent behind a mountain. he even had hydro so he knew from where fuso was comming. But for some reason, he decided to reverse and got dev struck when he only had to hide 30s.
I wasn't even angry since it wasn't even surprising when it happened. lol
I need to precise that fuso wasn't even low on hp, so i don't know what my graff wanted to do.

@@Quentin211196 he wanted to TORP the Fuso, of course. Seems like a maniacal deviation. And yes, indeed, it's not surprising at all anymore.

I think i remember him firing instead however. But it's hard to know if there was any torping intentions since it took 2 seconds for him to go from "living being" (brain must have been shut off, i suppose) to dead.

It doesn't happen often.. but for once I actually agree with two of Flamuu's vids. The rng sometimes is wacky as all hell, aiming waterline at a short distance and then OVERshooting the target is nuts, and not being punished when broadside as well. Other than that big kudos to including Statsbloke's explanation of how stream sniping/ getting advantages in game by watching streamers is against several TOS. :D Solid comp, nice shots!

No det on sub? What do you mean?? Did the torpedo made from wood? Also sub is armorless boat, it cant handle any type of shell. Thats why they never dare to came out to the surface when a dd or any surface ship present in the area.
You can aim to detonate BBs. Technically true. Realistically impossible during regular gameplay? Absolutely. Their brain must be jacked AF from all the mental gymnastics.

@@senpai_silent7208 their response for that question was: CVs are far too important to just let them detonate, a single lucky shell could knock out the strongest ship in your game. It is 100% bullshit ofc, the real reason is, CVs (and now subs) are boring and unrewarding to play so they had to give the class as much power as possible to keep up the numbers. As long as you can stomp while doing nothing, some people will play the class regardless how boring and unfun it is.

Odd place to post this. BUT
Im a very new warships player, most definitely still noob and learning, but decently versed in terms of combat-accuracy, exposure, detection, Shells/armor/weakpoints, effective range, ship-ship strengths/weaknesses etc.
I like watching content to try to get better and these videos do that while also being entertaining. However there are a lot of clips here where the rage at a teammates positioning/play goes completely over my head.
I know a lot of this knowledge I seek will come with making mistakes myself and then avoiding them in the future.
While I’m not expecting a whole thesis, I’m wondering if anyone knows of any unwritten rules or thumb, or even good informational UA-cam channels, especially if it’s a creator featured in these complications.
WG itself released a series of "Bad Advice" - animated satiric shorts showing what not to do, most of the stuff that you should know you will learn with exp, seeing others play is better live on twitch but everyone has unique playstyle and you will need to find yours
Flamu made many videos where he breaks down his train of thoughts during games, so this is one channel I'd recommend. If you really have the time, iChaseGaming made a whole series of videos on how to get better at WoWs, definitely good to watch if you're really invested
You should watch Flamu's videos, but first thing everyone should take a note on is SHOOT THE DDS, a good DD can almost always carry or at least ruin your game if there arent carries involved

While the trade was probably helpful for the team in the end cruisers don't usually rush the cap at game start when you have 4 dds specifically because of what happened to the Roon. The fact his team actually shot Flambass to pieces is the most surprising part.
