Thanks for sharing! As someone new to Government Contracting would you speak to connecting with subcontractors meaning questions that you ask them to vet and guage their interest in working with you? Is it worth speaking to subcontractors that have government experience or is it preferable to look for those who do not? If a subcontractor agrees to work with us do we need to have an agreement in place with them? And what does that look like? Do we simply explain to the subcontractor that it's government work and then copy the scope of work and ask them to confirm their ability to do the work along with providing their pricing? How do we protect ourselves against the subcontractor who backs out after winning a government contract? I assume multiple bids but I ask these questions because I don't see that anything else matters if you can't get by this particular hurdle of working with subcontractors and how to go about it properly.

What websites should you pay for that help with product research , history of part, and easy to work with? Also , for part distribution- do u like parts base or ILS ? 🔥 content

Quick question. I recently dove head first into gov contracting. Just got my LLC on the first of this month. Is it true I have to wait 5 weeks to register so my EIN can age? I followed your videos and went through the whole registration process with you but I got an email saying my EIN didn’t match my Taxpayer name and when I called they said it was because EIN was not old enough and I should wait about 5 weeks. Just curious to see if it was the same for you because I have never heard anyone talk about this before. Really appreciate your videos and hope you can help me understand this!

I went through the same thing. I resubmitted with the information I used on my taxes. I used my name and my social security number and received my CAGE Code 4 days later. You do NOT have to wait 5 weeks. They told me the same thing, and I went about it in a different way. I did a pivot and it worked!

Just an LLC or sole prop. Physical business address and proof of such. Funds are primarily needed if you plan on selling products.
