@@_monkivr when making modern levels i usually prefer leaving my spikes blank, since detailing too much kinda goes away from what modern style is. It's also cool to make spikes out of custom shapes or make rounded spikes, for instance

This tutorial helps but at 1:43 i dont have the color picker and the hexcode inputer, why tho?
when i try to edit something sometimes the white thick lines suddenly overlaps the less thicker lines, also with the blocks, it overlaps the detail and i can't see it anymore do u know how to fix that? it really annoys me

Thanks! Not sure on what you mean when you say "thick slopes", but there are thicker variations of outlines in the editor. Just gotta make sure to look carefully

About the thick blocks, how can you get rid of the glow on the blocks
Select the thick blocks, click edit object then you will see a box with a check that has "glow" on top of it. Click on the box and yeah thats it 😁
The hardest part is being origina. I could copy the designs from this, but that's not fun. So far i have 3 attempts at a feature-worthy level, we'll see how i do.

This helps. Also, how can u build custom portals?
make your custom design, and place it on top of the portal. add a group to your portal, and place an alpha trigger set to that group and opacity set to 0. The portal will be invisible and just your custom decoration

Z order basically defines what's above and what's below - it's basically the layer of that object! If an object is at Z Layer/Order 2, and another is at Z order 99, then the second object (Z order 99) will be above the other one at Z order 2.

textures don't change game mechanics, that's a modification. It's called BetterEdit if you want to download it, available for PC only.

there actually are thick slopes! in the slope tab, take a slower look and you'll find them :)

How do you do portals?
I like to keep them as default, as custom portals can be hard to execute well in a way that looks good and is also sight-readable

Pause, select all, edit group, tick don't fade and don't enter
