Daggerwin. With fertilizing the grapes, what I did in fs22 was. Plant 6 rows leave a gap (bout the size of the Massey without twin wheels) plant 12 rows leave a gap again plant 6 rows, than you can go up the gap with solid fertilizer. Can do 24 rows in 2 passes. Love the videos 👌🏼
yep used to do this myself not sure if it works on fs25 but cant see why it will not could even stick a small spreader on the back of the olive/grape tractor and use it to fertilize.
Fun fact: its illegal to fell oak trees in sweden, even on your own land you need to have permission. Its an old law from 1558 where king vasa made it illegal cause the oak was the kings trees, cause of how important they were for ship building and the long time it took for the trees to grow
You're planning on a similar path to me, buying the big farm and surrounding area, I've put goats on half of 8 and it's working well. Looking forward to seeing your progress!
Lodgepole is 40 months to full maturity from the small saplings. It might be a bit shorter using the taller saplings. Lodgepole is also very easy to harvest into logs using a harvester. I cut them into 12ft lengths and load the logs into the lumber semi trailer. Just finished harvesting ~50 trees. Easy peasy.
I do the same I currently have bought all the Forests around Moon Bear Sawmill I OWN that mountain then after chipping EVERY Garbage tree... made like 2 mill doing that, I added Marker poles outlining each property and replanted each property with Every Coniferous Tree in the game 1 type per property and 24 trees each. The Result in the time it takes EVERY OTHER Coniferous tree to grow you will get at the lowest 2 harvests of Lodgepole Pines at most 5 and the Yield of those trees is insane just 50 trees fills the Moon Bear Sawmill with some left overs, 75 or so will also fill the Carpentry. I Tend to keep a number of Log trailers filled with 15m trees to fill my productions then I chip the rest of the logs and in 12 months I'm sitting on HUGE Profits of 4 to 6 mill in just wood chips, + about another million in all the Lumber Prefab Walls and Furniture... I'm looking into getting the other wood productions up and running as well, I might be able to make 10 mill in a good year.
I do think that maybe the landini might be a better option if you have more issues with your current vineyard tractor once you have cleared that forest you could make a huge field and grow cereal crops and make lots off profit that definitely is a good idea 110%
I can’t remember if you’ve collected it yet, but next time you go to the canning factory I believe by the ocean port. Go take a stroll down the boardwalk to the very end! The field looks like my home state Louisiana when turned around lol
About the pruner, not sure if there's enough space between the rows to fit the Merlo. You could change the steering mode to front wheels only on the Merlo and see if it would work better, but it might be too wide.
I think you could utilize the orchard tractors as a limit on a small map(none yet, but hopefully soon). Also, be careful of trailers on this map for semis. Many are too long and bottom out easily on the hills. Look for a modded gooseneck trailer.
Although it’s not proper to do this, you could use the big fertilizer spreader and do all the vines at once. Or buy the Amazone spreader that has a 45 m working width to do this.
FYI for field 4 that you have been looking at, I just bought it recently on mine and am hating the sheds. Some are decoration that you can't open the doors on, no need for the house, and the great big shed I was excited about has been a point of frustration because the 3 doors are too small to fit nearly all my larger equipment. I'm thinking about selling it when I can afford to replace it with something with better entrance options. Curious if you run into the same frustrations.
I think if you had a higher steering angle on your wheel, it would be a little easier to stay on the vine, so the back of the tractor doesn't swing out so much
I suggest getting the Fendt, not the Landini. Even at the highest hp engine, it feels so much more underpowered than the Fendt. Can also use the small 2k fertiliser spreader between the standard olive row width and it works perfectly.
Why don't you use the small path in the wood going upto the pavilion as the border for the new field? That way you get more space and we'll be able to see the pavilion while you're working there.. brilliant content as always Dag
Hey Dag just bringing it to your attention but it seems that every hutan episode after 85 doesn't seem to be in the playlist, unsure if it's on my end of not. Love your content man. ❤
Around next December and January (in game), use wood chipper to make and sell wood chips for extra money. Somehow they give more money than planks, etc
I think it's pretty obvious that pruning the grapes is hard because of how unlevel of ground you have it on. What did you expect? It also works way better on the front.
@Daggerwin I have not seen this yet but from the thumbnail I'm assuming you're running into the olives constantly. I have seen someone else use GPS and set and adjust the width of the machine to fit down the rows. Once that is done you shouldn't have anymore issues.
He wants to own one for the debris crusher. The Merloes bucket is only 1/10 of a wheel loaders so loading trailers with it would be extremely time consuming
I agree, I think the loader is a bad buy. I think he should get conveyors belts instead. I made a short little video to show Daggerwin why. Hopefully he sees it! ua-cam.com/video/I3sMG4o3jpM/v-deo.htmlsi=95HPmbuxVqgghyz9
@@chaytaylor106 I 100% agree. I was just repeating Daggerwins reasons of wanting to buy a wheel loader, not saying it was the best option lol. In all seriousness, with the way the building is designed, Giants should change it to allow you to park a trailer under the belt and fill the trailer directly imho. Also give it an on/off option like all other productions
@MerccreM15 yeah! I definitely agree! I was pretty shocked when I realized that parking a trailer inside the bunker wouldn't autofill the trailer. Definitely something Giants needs to fix!
not sure but dont you need two pruners one on the front one on the back you might find its easier to do then as the pruners keep you in line plus you do two rows at a time.
He tried that and they kept hitting every other post, so he's been using one. Imo, giants should fudge the collisions of those posts or fix the pruner so it moves automatically for the post like IRL with a simple spring mechanism
Don't you need to spray the outside edge's of grapes and olives to get them fully fertilised too? Otherwise they're still missed if you need to do everything
Yr missing out on products at yr wood mill. The mill produce does not get faster if you only have wood beams. It will make them all at the same time. Instead of a product you should get 3
the problem is daggerwin is not your skill or your controller its the Articulated vehicles and the games steering sensitivity if you drop the steering down as far as it will go you can drive articulated vehicles easier, that being said I wish giants would fix these damnedable things or give us some non articulated alternatives in the same price range, looking at YOU Komatsu tree harvester, & all forwarders.
Wow thats early today, I was just about to go out for a walk but that can wait :) Isnt the pruner supposed to be on the front? I remember I struggled with it in FS 22 and then I figured it out it would only work on the front.
Put the pruner on the front... got it! I will get a front linkage fitted. Thanks everyone
In real life, that tractors seat swivels around so you can deliberately drive it backwards.
@@coffeebuzzz In FS you can do the same. @Daggerwin just chose to ignore that option.
@@der_wes Wasn't aware of it
Time to go full fendt farmer? 😂
Also land is very uneven.

Did the same
dag didn't want to do that in 22 with the small spreader
You should name the field GEOFF: It's the Grapes Eggs Olives and Field, Field
GEOFF activities 😂😂😂
Alright Craig Ferguson

That is actually a fun fact
If you use herbicide instead of a weeder you lose 10% of your yeild because the weeds, even though dead, are still actually in the field
You should use a conveyor belt for the rocks instead of buying a wheel loader. It would save you a lot of money. 😃
You're planning on a similar path to me, buying the big farm and surrounding area, I've put goats on half of 8 and it's working well. Looking forward to seeing your progress!
Field name: Little Italy. Fits the boot and the Carraro might feel less homesick in the grove as it be close to home. ;P
daggerwin you can use gps on grapes now i use it
Swivel around and prune from the front. Maybe that will help 😊
You're using the barrel pruner backwards. They're a front mount implement.
You can't use it in 1st person if mounted on the back. That's the biggest clue. Great comment @coffeebuzzz
I was about to put this myself 👍
He can’t put it on the front as there is now 3 point linkage on the front of the tractor yet
Will need a front linkage. Thanks

In FS22 I always did one pruner on the front and a pruner on the back, usually worked and was pretty efficient!
On tonight's episode of Farming Simulator, I prune a hedge. we do some more deforestation and I spray a field
Lodgepole pine I think also is 3 years some species is 10 years to mature the fastest growing tress is 3 years I think
