Well that's interesting. The reply from Anzo regarding my question disappeared. That's probably because the person that replied didn't know what the heck they were talking about. I was told that the plank lights would now be the daytime running lights due to the added wiring. That's completely false. The additional wiring is for the initiation feature only, and that feature only works when the vehicle is off and you unlock it. It does not work when the vehicle is running. It's still using the factory system one Amber sequential flash for lock and two Amber sequential flashes for unlock. If you want the plank lights on during the day you have to physically turn them on. They are operated by the parking lights. I was under the impression based on Azons response that the additional wiring would somehow convert the factory DRL system into using the new plank lights in place of the low beams. Maybe that's not possible due to GM's programming. That would have definitely set this product apart from other companies like Recon or Spider that make a headlight for this model custom Silverado. Also the beam pattern and cut off line is extremely jacked up looking. It looks like a staircase starting high on the passenger side and stepping down multiple times to the driver side. Doesn't matter if you adjust the beam up or down the overall beam pattern stays the same. I would think the beam pattern on one side would be mirrored on the opposite side, but what the heck do I know.
I would recommend contacting Anzo USA direct at techsupport@anzousa.com for detailed big questions.
Could we get some that have the white leds be amber instead. Give it like a raptor look.
If you wire the LED activation directly to the battery, wouldn’t they be on constantly?
@@joseguerrerojr.5990 You have to splice into the factory harness; specifically, you wire the led feature to the factory drl. The led trim in the headlights becomes your drls
Do these headlights have true DRL's, or are they like Recons headlights for the custom Silverado. The only way they stay on during the day is if you activate the marker lights headlights or fog lights if equipped.
@@joseguerrerojr.5990 Ok so....if you leave them on "auto" you get your low beams as your DRL. If you go right once on your switch you get the LED outline as your DRL (is what I do). I hope this helps.
Can you replace.the bulbs or do you have to buy a qhole new light assembly once thwy doe out
Hey guys! I do have 2 Silverados, one 2021 and the other one 2022 both custom with halogen factory headlights. A pretty bad presentation lol. I’m interested on getting a pair of these led headlights for each truck. So my question is: does the DRL feature works with this product?
The vehicles themselves have a factory OE DRL feature. You also have two different trucks. 2022 is a facelift and is not the same as the 19-21 Silverado.
There are two versions of 2022 custom 1500. Mine is not facelift. Is still the same face like my 2021. And I’m talking about the DRL feature with the white led edge bars, cuz normally only works with the low beam ones.
So my real question is if these works like the factory oem led lights like the LT silverados
Contact Anzo USA technical support at techsupport@anzousa.com for technical questions. Thank you
What do you have for 2022 silverado customs?
Please feel free to go to the AnzoUSA.com website and enter your vehicle information for all products we make for your vehicle. Thank you.
I see it fits a custom trail boss but does it fit the LT trail boss?
If you have Halogen headlights they will work for 19-21 models. Most LT Trail Boss will have OE LED headlights.
The whole purpose of this is to get the custom headlights to look like the LT/LTZ
@@Brad__Gray yeah i know but i love them way more than the LT ones
Does it fit 2022 trailboss custom?
If you have the new face lift 2022 model the headlights will not work are not the same.
2021 custom trail boss?
I believe you are asking if they will fit your vehicle? They are rated for the vehicle but there also links in the video that will bring you to the page for headlight information and fitment.
@@anzousa yes that was my question. Gotta swap out the stock headlights. Tough decision here. Thanks for the reply
Y’all sure you didn’t skip a couple steps removing the side panel 🤔……
They did this on a relatively new truck at the time. If you’ve had your truck for a while, years like I have, the parts don’t come off so easily
Does this fit the silverado 1500 custom?
@@anzousa Are you sure because it says it does check the site under fitment... Silverado 1500 Custom is listed... Can you verify this?
This instructional video made the install 1000% easier!!
The only thing that I would caution is that there's an additional bolt inside holding the side panel to the vehicle frame. Found that out after 30 minutes of pulling. 😅
