Kailyn Operty There's a misconception that looking at youtube comments of a song gives you. Anyone commenting on this video went looking for this video. So, of course most of the comment are going to be positive. Look at almost any song video on youtube and you'll find almost 95% positive comments. Even if the band is extremely obscure.
Drew Jefferson You are right, this song should get more attention... everyone that knows it seems to love it, though. We need to get this song out there so everyone can enjoy it. c:
***** It may be that way for others, but it doesn't sound generic to me. There's something about it that feels like nostalgia, and that hasn't really got anything to do with it being sonically similar to another song.
this song reminds me of my boyfriend so much, we broke up yesterday and I had an anxiety attack so he told me to listen to this song because he knew it was my favorite.
I listen to all kinds of music genres. Rock, dub step, metal, and all the ones in-between. But fall out boys... they just bring back the most memories of childhood.
This refrain is amazing. A mix of the synthesized strings and the rock guitars with Patrick's soulful voice belting out "I will never believe in anything again" just sounds so amazing. Gives me a newfound love for this band. I liked them before, but this album is amazing.
Exactly - they're just a solid band with a bunch of really well written songs. Just accept them for what they are and you won't be disappointed when they don't fall into the punk/rock category they started out as.
I love the guitar with the violin in the background, it creates such a bitter/sweet sound that reminds of you of being happy and sad at the same time. Beautiful!
Wow, forgive me higher beings of the world for I used to dislike this album. Such a huge amount of beautiful sounds and arrangements, meeting up with the voice I'm the most jealous of singing the lines of an insane writer. Can't believe how wonderful this is. Fall Out Boy will always be awesome. Die-hard fans, BELIEVE. For Believers Never Die !
hello violin solo ;) A 2008 music album by the band "Fall Out Boy" is titled "Folie à Deux". In an interview regarding the album, Patrick Stump reveals that "Folie à Deux" comes from the French psychiatric term basically meaning two independently crazy individuals sharing a sense of inhumanity and making each other crazier. The record's about the current state of the world, humans' selfishness and not accepting what they have. The band uses the term metaphorically and in a non-serious manner. :P
wow, FOB's stuff is becoming more and more sophisticated. i love the strings at the end. i didn't listen to folie a deux at first because i thought FOB had sold out...i couldn't have been more wrong. their new album is amazing.
I love Fall Out Boy beyond belief, I'm 14 now, I've probably been listening to them since I was I think 7, even though I probably shouldn't have been cause I didn't understand what the hell the lyrics meant, but my brother listened to them, so I began too. Every damn time I hear any of their songs, SO many memories just get thrown at me, their literally the best band ever *_*
Don't hate labels, they aren't inherently wrong, because we as humans categorize everything. Instead, hate mistaken impressions, and negative conotations. No one can TRULY say they like ALL music. We can appreciate and accept that others have different tastes instead of bashing other genres or genres in general.
I will never understand why folie a deux is this underappreciated and that boys even went on a hiatus for this This is my favourite fob album(and one of my favourites in general, cause I'm an emo trinity trash) and I have a feeling that this album meant a lot to the boys at a time and it is really sad that it never got recognition it deserved
Yay french people! ^_^ thanks, actually because i'm writing an essay on different mental disorders, and being in french class, I'm using mostly french terms. :)
THANK YOU! Thats what I;ve been trying to tell someone but they are being up themselves syaing patrick writes them all Patrick has only started writing most of them such as ones from FAD. '¬¬ fuuuu xx
The only way to sing along to this song is loudly and with much abandon and headbanging. "I WILL NEVER BELIEVE IN ANYTHING AGA-I-A-I-AIN! I WILL NEVER BELIEVE IN ANYTHING AGA-I-AIN! CHANGE, WILL COME, OH, CHANGE WILL COME! I WILL NEVER BELIEVE IN ANYTHING AGA-I-AIN!"
"Shared Madness of Two" is a more meaningful translation though to get the connotation they're trying to get through. (Native French and English speaker)
This is probably the most underrated FOB song in existence.
It's actually not- have you read the other comments? I think it's really good, though.

Drew Jefferson id hardly say its the most underrated it has 350k views... some songs from IFOH, and TTTYG are still lingering at 100k-150k
Drew Jefferson Its a damn shame. You can really tell how much heart the musicians put in this song.
You know those songs that you wish could go on forever? This is one of them.
Preach
+Mae Roberts "Preach electric to a microphone stand!"
@@maeroberts9553 electric to a microphone stand
I end up commenting: this song is so beautiful for every Folie song. This album is fantastic and terribly underrated. This album is me.
+Lizzy C I agree! By far my favorite album.
something about this whole album gets me so emotional every time i put it on
The first time I ever heard this song, it felt like I'd already known it. I love it.
***** It may be that way for others, but it doesn't sound generic to me. There's something about it that feels like nostalgia, and that hasn't really got anything to do with it being sonically similar to another song.
***** Nah that's fine lol
+Selena M i feel the same. nostalgic af

You are so right
The chorus really gets to me.
Same here
How have I only just heard this...
This song is perfect. I can't even.
I can't even.
Why does hardly anyone know it?
The chorus is so moving
Geodude123man it's like a song to express my conflicting thought processes "I will never believe in anything again"
"Change will come" ❤️
why was folie "their worst album"? imo it was one of their best (i say that about all their albums though)
This song is sooooo great but it is soooooo under rated.
this song reminds me of my boyfriend so much, we broke up yesterday and I had an anxiety attack so he told me to listen to this song because he knew it was my favorite.
awwwww
This song is so fucking perfect. It's so underrated and it's so beautiful.
I can't even explain how much I love this song.
I listen to all kinds of music genres. Rock, dub step, metal, and all the ones in-between. But fall out boys... they just bring back the most memories of childhood.
THIS SONG IS SO WONDERFUL
So many memories! happy there back to make new ones love this album so much
This refrain is amazing.

The violin solo at the end is THE most epic outro i've ever heard ever.
