Because he did not spammed. He did great bnb's and put pressure to his opponent (which needs practice and game knowledge). Just like how a real pro player supposed to do.
It's really disappointing when you want to watch a tournament to see some cool combos and sick plays but all you get is a guy doing same move again and again. That's why people "bitching" about zoners...

That's pretty much what fighting games have become--handed to the tournament crowd first in beta-test so that they are miles ahead on EVERY MOVE. You either play for money and get all the perks or you just get stuck at casual level forever once the pros know EVERY combo and possible move way in advance.
