Ray fought for 25 years with a record of 174-19-6 he won over 87% of his fights averaging almost 7 wins a year.
And dont forget his 18 lost is happen when he was past his prime. As i know until the end of 1952 (31 old ray), his record is 132 won, 1 lost, 2 drawn.
He is not fighting after 1952, and he fight again in January 1955. And he is not the same as before
@@briandwis2104 not just that but most of Sugar Ray Robinson’s losses he had rematches and won! Nobody ever beat Ray twice until he was in his 40s
That’s impressive
What a comeback by Charles Nelson Riley and Elizabeth Allen on Tattletales.
Yes, at 27:44 you can see the floor director on the right exhorting the crowd to cheer.
Complete with slate and original commercials!
One of the all time greats! Had one of his first fights in my hometown of Watertown, NY
Maybe all time great, depends how you look at it ,Sam Langford beat more world champions but sugar defended an won way more belts
@@SM-4359 listen if you’re idolized by Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis and other great fighters and you have a record he has then you’re considered one of the greatest if not the greatest boxer I love his fighting style in my opinion has the best and most exciting fighting style in history
The beginning of the Sinutab commercial, I thought that was Boston Celtic Kevin McHale 🤣 😂
I love when you post a studio master with the slate! Keep up the good work BUZZR!
Good old 2" quad. Very nice when it works, but unfortunately this tape has a bit of damage.
Vic Tayback in the 409 advertisement and Doris Roberts in the Glade advertisement.
Mel the Cleaner!
One of these couples is not like the other two.
Charles had plenty of female friends who would "partner" with him for "Tattletales"
I wasn't born yet but I've heard about Charles Nelson Reilly and others of that era who were in the closet. Too bad it's not still like that.
@@robertridley9279 dude in the middle is absolutely in the closet.
July 10 1975
23:35 that girl is about 60 years old today.
Wow
whats the actual date of this episode?
Gene Wood is the announcer.
I thought CNR was gay
I thought so too
He is. He hid it through the public.
@@therainmakerinsider This was not the only time Tattletales provided "cover" to a gay celeb. Another time they paired Dick Sargent and Fannie Flagg, both of whom were in the closet. I don't know if Allen was (she had one marriage in the early 50s) or whether she was just being a good friend to CNR on this.
I knew CNR was gay and Dick Sargent, but I didn’t know about Fannie Flagg
@@epaddon In England fanny means the exact opposite to what it does in America. Dick and Fanny makes for an interesting combo.
Gene Wood mentioned Buddy Borgen holding the slate.
That's is Tattletales Announcer (The Late) Casey Kasem
Uh, no that is Gene Wood, speaking for Tattletales (a Mark Goodson-Bill Todman Production)
