as a Habs fan, the thing that I find most impressive (and scary....) is just the variety of ways he scores. Outside, picking up rebounds, tips, hard nose goals in front of the net, on the rush with speed, one timers, name it he has one of those goals just in this video. I hate that he's a leaf lol my heart pressure goes up every time he has the puck

I love Matthews. I went to the game in Arizona while on Holiday and it was cool to see him live. They lost 2-1 and the Coyote who scored both goals ended up acquired by Toronto weeks later lol.
They could’ve released this video twice at the same time and it still wouldn’t be as fast as Auston Matthews’ release

Nothing against JT he is a fantastic player but I personally feel Matthews is the leader the future and should be Captain, he does it all really even going for some clean heavy hits more often.. personally it feels like I have been waiting for a player like him forever and I hope he is a Leaf forever! Never let Matthews and Marner go!
He probably would have got it if he and his buddies didn't moon some girl or something (I forget exactly what it was they did) in the off season right before they picked the captain.

He’s going to score more then 60 this coming season , Bunting will be better , Marner aswell and Mathews won’t start the season post surgery

Fun fact. McDavid had 33 points in the playoffs this year. That’s the same as Mathews’s career total in playoff points. Drisitle also got 32 playing on a broken ankle. Mathews is still better though right?
I mean he did get more regular season goals than both of them this year. And McDavid and Leon played extra games lol. Matthew's also plays defense. The others don't
@@OvieSnips8 regular season is irrelevant when u suck in playoffs, and they only played 16 games and managed to get those points, where it took 39 games for mathews to get those points, and they both play defence so. Mcdavid is miles better then mathews, but the drai and mathews debate can go either way

You’d rather a guy who can score 60 goals and rack up just over a hundred points over a guy who can easily rack up 110+ points and just notched a 123 point season and can go over 2 points per game in the playoffs? You’d be a pretty bad gm.
