In this episode, we bring you the YONGNUO 50mm F1.8X Pro lens. The image quality of this lens is exceptionally impressive. It can currently satisfy the hunger of a 40-megapixel Fuji XH-2 sensor. If this CMOS were to be made in full-frame size, the pixel count would approach 90 million, highlighting the incredible sharpness of this lens.
The focusing speed of this lens is exceptionally fast, as you can see in the video. Whether it's daytime or in relatively low light conditions, it exhibits very swift focusing performance. The lens also comes equipped with an OLED screen, allowing you to quickly check the current aperture value, adding a touch of sophistication to its appearance. The overall build quality of the lens is excellent, and the lens hood operates very smoothly.
When it comes to image quality, there's no need to say much - it's incredibly sharp. While the lens does exhibit some chromatic aberration, it's not severe. The only issue to be aware of is potential lens flare due to coating, so when you're shooting, make sure to use the lens hood, and that should resolve the problem.
