People thought there was only one an CEO for Kener Toys had a handful of revisions of Boba Fett it's like finding what people only thought One of. but dude had 4 of um. Priceless find. Of the ones out in the last 5 years this isn't the best but I can't justify the asking price of the vintage collection one so as a version of the falcon on display it will do.... Think the original Kenner one that I got in 1984 looks better.
Maybe one day they have to re use the big MF playset the one debut in 2008 with retooling the cockpit and everything else inside also add a new radar dish.
I don't understand why the paint wash on the exhaust ports runs at different angles. Wind sheer is the only logical cause of the exaust fume stains, and wind sheer would cause them to run pretty much in the same direction, not at totally different angles from eachother. There's no atmosphere in space so no wind sheer, ergo the exaust fume marks simply wouldn't be affected during space flight. I know it's kinda anal of me to point this out, but as the saying goes "the devil is in the details".
This falcon was designed by the same man that has designed each and EVERY falcon including the original that came out in 1979. There is a UA-cam video of him talking about his love of making all the falcons. He was the Kenner employee that was kept on when Hasbro absorbed Kenner. True story and very interesting. I picked up this new falcon and up close and personal it's nice and great features.
So obviously the nerf canon is dumb, and the roof player function is unnecessary and yes dumb.. I like the inner look but I feel they could have made the hallway taller and expanded the interior instead of molding the dumb canon and roof play set… otherwise it’s decent.
Good review, I normally watch ALL reviews without volume. I just want to see the toy not necessarily the opinion of the reviewer. After reading the basically comments I had to have a go. It was good and an overall nice certainly review. Just had to have questions laugh on the basically word play..... well done
Jay C they can lower the price. P.S the new AT-AT is so cool but it isn't worth 300 dollars and people say it's remote controlled so what. How do you want kids to get your toys when you higher the prices which makes kids seem impossible to have.
JosephProductions I have seen the AT-ACT on sale for $200 but the reality of the toy market is that things cost a lot more to make than they did even 5 yrs ago. If you want all the bells and whistles your going to have to pay for it, but that is why toy companies like Hasbro generally don't add the bells and whistles anymore so people can afford it.

There was a written review I think in Amazon or RebelScum's review page or forum on Poe Dameron's X-Wing. The collector showed pictures with the X-Wing cannons bent. Hasbro's quality control and design has slipped up.

+Robert Fryer Most places sell it for $118 not $140. I think TRU is the only place trying to sell it for that much. Also in general things cost more now then when the Legacy Falcon came out. That would probably cost in the neighborhood of $200 if it was released today.

The nerf shooter and gimmicks detract from the ship. Those pop up guns and hindge ruin the lines the Falcon. The old Kenner/Hasbro mold from the 90's is still better.

Add in the lame interior design and limited playability offered by the horrible flip down rear panel, and you've got yourself one pricey dud. Of course, adult collectors with no restraint will fall all over themselves to waste money on this dreck, as per usual. Hasbro counts on that.
It pales in comparison ruefully to the Legacy Falcon. Why is Hasbro writing itself. My girl friend bought this and was bragging that it was better than my 79 model. Then I bought a used Legacy model and she cried
+Karloff Winkler i have 5 figures of the 30th anniversary collection, and 2 of the revenge of the sith series and a single 30th anniverary figure was worth $20 but you got a fully articulated fig with detailed weapons and accessories. but the new series of action figures have 5 points of articulation a shitty weapon and bullshit painting and almost no accessories for the same Price if not $15 - $17 dollars when i see the comparisson between a fig from 8 years ago and one from this year its amazing how they cocked up. i just cant believe it, the worst thing that happened to star wars was being bought by disney
