Documentary about the best ska band in the world THE SLACKERS I´m not the owner of this documentary I just wanna share something that its hard to find in the web.
Beautiful. I've been listening to them for about 13 years, saw them 4 times in 4 different countries, and this movie made my evening! Marcus is awesome, I've spent a night with them drinking after a gig!
This is great. There are still a lot of questions I've had for years that it didn't address -- what happened to Q, Mush, TJ, & Zulu? What was the beef with Moon? -- but the interviews in here are great. Vic's one of my favorite songwriters, & hearing him talk about love, his dad, & other songwriting inspiration was really worth it. Thanks so much for sharing this!
I dont remember were I download it years ago because thsi is my favorite band, I have it in my files for years and one day i thought man everybody need to see this so here it is. :D
23 shows (24 if you count tonight's live stream) and I have never seen this. Simply amazing. They're the world's greatest band nobody ever heard of. I still play to this day because I have as much fun as Marcus does every time I see him!
Lovin the slackers and commenting for the algorithm. Seen em twice. Will go see them any time they ever come around for this point forward. Introduced to me on give em the boot 1 near ‘97.
Its Pretty cool right? I dont know why just a few people know about it, Im actually dont remmember where I download it but its a pretty cool production indeed :D
was at 14 gigs in 3 countries, fan since 20yrs and never seen that😍 thanks a lot for sharing @digar draw and cheers from switzerland🙋🏻♂️ btw.not one single word from or about marq lynn 😂
Glen seriously hasn't aged a day. Haha and every time I meet dave he's rude to me Haha but ara and jay have always been kind and understanding of my obsession with this band. The best band ever.
You've gotta catch Dave when he's performing with someone other than The Slackers haha. Once I got to know them all, I realized how much he has on his hands at every Slackers show when it comes to dealing with every part of everything. He only really gets any kind of a break when their tour manager is with them, and even then, he's spread thin. When you catch him on an off night onstage with someone else, he's as chilled out as Vic haha.
yo what happened to Q Maxx though?? I saw these fools in campbell ca in like 1998/98 and I swear the dude was there... hollerin at some ladies, I asked Vic to smoke a J with me. He said after the show.. I never followed up with that fool. But Q Maxx tho?? that dude had some energy. what happened to that cat?
I don't think it was a good idea for anyone to have sex in the back of the basement of a church during a ska show, if that's what Marcus meant by "consummation". The promoter of those shows got that space for free. That's why the tickets were always so cheep. If they found out that that was happening, the promoter could've lost that space.
Thank you for sharing this, I'm so glad to watch it. These guys are totally salt of the earth, gves me hope!

@@brendenpavao2071 well thank you for that insight Haha I thought it had to do with how I dress like a hobo Haha
Ethan Payne i got the rude vibe from Glenn. Dave was quiet but cool and Vic is one of the nicest people i’ve ever met.
Dave was very nice to me, even I was so nervous that I ended up calling him Glen... LOL! Actually, they were all very nice!
I got the dream experience of opening for them and they couldn't have been cooler!
Thank youuuu!!!
Tnx!
Slackers save me Every Morning - Never fails
SLACKERS NEW YORK SKA FOREVER!

What song is 11:40?
Old Days, but an instrumental jazz version. It's from their album Wasted Days.

2005/2006, they mention it at 1:28:00

Not bad but I can't help feeling it was a little over long though.
Oh yes it's quite longer cause it has some live songs in it but is still enjoyable
