I did Afrikaans for the past 12years in Primary and High school (BTW Afrikaans is my home launge) so when I got to varsity (Johannesburg)last year a lot of people were speaking English 24/7 and they were so fluent including my peers and I was Really scared to ask questions or answer in class because I was ashamed of my vocabulary not sounding as proper as other students.
