These Trident 2 retrofits seem to always have aggressive sounding gear changes, which is nicely showcased in this video. This bus also doesn't seem to like fourth gear lol.
Great video, weird to hear a alx euro 5,you can just tell its a euro 5, the engine pistons knocking in the background give away that its not euro 3 tho. Weird to see a new operator choose ALX's out of all buses tho
Thanks, glad you liked it. Yep they are quite distinctive, Stagecoach had quite a few converted to Euro 5 but otherwise you don’t find many. I suspect this operator chose them down to price but it’s nice to see nonetheless
If you mean 18127 it’s still worth a ride. These Euro 5s aren’t all as good as this though, as I put in the description some of this batch were the opposite, really slow and poor performing

I'd love to ride one of these, its a shame that one KN04 had a switch to euro 4 engine
