O, I just marathoned all of the Lorehammer or Yourhammer since I fell in love with this segment after YT recommended me one of vids, and I also wanted to keep score! Only in order to include the first week, I was thinking about awarding a point whenever someone guesses correctly, AND when they succesfully deceive the other. A mildly interestingly thing is, after this one, both our methods come up to a tie: Ben: 7 (4 deceptions, 3 correct guesses) Tom: 7 (3 deceptions plus a bonus point awarded by Ben, 3 correct guesses) :)
@@z4iris I considered this, but realised that a correct guess is just the flip of a deception and so score keeping would be easier when simplified to one or the other. Plus it's unlikely that deceptions are the exact same difficulty as guesses so including the first week would give some unnecessary skew
I love how I watched the stream, and I've seen this already, all the stories are so good that I sometimes don't remember which is real. Only problem is, if the GW store near me starts doing events again, I'll be like "Did you know they elected a zombie Emperor one time?"
By the way guys - There's a few typo's in the description "...sign an allience or goes the Hive Mind..." rather than "...sign an alliance or does the Hive Mind..."
i have a question that i think could be made into a yourhammer lie, Where in the eye of terra does the imperium get all its wax? i mean they slap purity seals on things like they're bumper stickers, and they also seem to have lost the ancient technology of lightbulbs seeing as they have candles everywhere. is there some Forgeworld dedecated to making wax and blessing it so it can be used in purity seals? is it actualy some dumb 40k material called like Wax-steal? i mean you're not about to put regular old unblessed wax in the emperors throne room so whats up with that?
I feel like there could be a lie involving some sacred wax repository on each ship or something. Like it was blessed wax with the blood of saints or something and they can't make it anymore and when it runs out it gone. Could maybe go so far as to make up an order of scribes or something that tries to recover and preserve it. Melting down old wax seals on dead marines or whatever.
@@RAFMnBgaming that Sounds fucking amazing, If the chapter was heretical you could have honey combs growing out of their armour, and those nurgle flies but as bees
OOOoooohhhh, I actually know this one! Ben's one, I mean. I KNOW Felinids are a thing, and I also know that there's a Temple Assassinorum which is too close to this "mortus" one for them to coesxist. The Vanus temple trains assassins who are similarly ALL about manipulation, but not *suicide.* The best way to describe them is by their stated ideal: "The best assassination is one performed by someone else, who does not even know that they are being manipulated."
Since you guys have your own UA-cam channel now, can we finally have Tom & Ben Total War Warhammer adventures again? I know you guys do that on Yogascast livestreams but I miss the versus campaigns you guys did and Tom's editing.
It's honestly super fun. If you like reading, most of the novels (All of the main ones, most of the side ones barring the really old or irrelevant) are well written and great reads. If you don't want to jump into the library shelf that is the Horus Heresy series at first, the 'Vaults of Terra' series only has two books, I think, and its a bit easier for people who aren't already heavy into warhammer.
Well I can certainly reccomend the Caiphas Cain books. Those were the first official 40k books I read, but then I came to 40k from stuff like The All Guardsmen Party, so I might have a preference towards Imperial Guard stuff.
Spoiler warning Wraithflight is a good short story in my opinion and it isnt so much saying anything more of a psychic feeling of hate and vengeance it send to her so she decides to go back and destroy it
Surely if this channel's content is so engaging I have liked and commented on every video it should be higher in the youtube algorithms. Pewdiepie Minecraft Among Us Spiderman Elsa.
The great thing about this show as someone who has no prior knowledge of Warhammer is that I will never be able to remember which of these stories are true or false, so they are all part of my headcanon now. What I've learned so far is that Warhammer is mostly about poop.
as someone who knows nothing about Warhammer this is just a fun story time for me since i have no clue what could possible be true or not
I only know what the factions are and who the Emperor is, but I feel like what is true in Warhammer is equally as crazy as what isn't true.
been playing Warhammer 40k for 7 years i still can't tell what is lorebullshit and what is yourbullshit
As someone who knows enough about Warhammer (40K), so many of these stories sound plausible it's probably just as much fun for me as it is for you!
Same here N- K it’s such a fun series
Im exactly the same way, I’ve played total war warhammer but I know no more from that and nothing about 40k so these are just a blast
I like how the more shitty the lore the more likely it is to be true
I was wondering when the Felinid's would come up, was only a matter of time

Despair not Tom, Bruva Alfabusa has a totally canon video on the felinids that you should check out.
It's disappointing that they probably don't watch TTS

This series is incredible. I still can't get over how dumb that landmine story was.
This is why I love to listen
Tzeentch has come to bargain
to be fair felanids probably look more like cat skaven then furrys.
I'd love to see them on the tabletop with artillery for some reason
I want-need 40K skaven yes yes
Should have mentioned the name of the Felinid planet, Planet Carlos McConnell, it would make them sound even less believable.

Same thing but the leather the new dark angels models are using. When's the last time you saw a cow in 40k?
