Do you have any idea why my program started only showing grey? I mean, at 2:11 in the video here the background is grey, but that changes into the video to the left, timeline in the bottom etc. when you click "ok". When I do that none of those things appear, the screen is still grey. Very frustrating.
Um, stupid question, how do you export the video? I looked it up and it said to select the my project and just hit export but I have no Idea how to select the entire project. Please help!!! :(
Hi SongBird. You say the Premiere Elements preset we must choose should say 'progressive scan', but I'm editing GoPro footage filmed in 1080 x 1920, and under the AVCHD preset menu there are no 1080 preset options which are progressive scan, they're all interlaced. I'm a bit reluctant to lose clarity as I love the crispness of 1080. I know 720 isn't bad, but just wondered if you had an answer to how to get a preset which works well for 1080p. Thanks. Have a nice Easter weekend :)
Hmmm. I use Elements 11 now but this may work for 9. Look under DSLR and go to the 1080p folder. You may find what you need there assuming it's in the same place in 9.
Thanks for having this. I know I'm late to the game with Premiere Elements 9, but I have an older computer. This tutorial is a blessing, though. I appreciated the "Soul Eater" clip although a I gave that show a kinda cold review on Netflix.
Songbird, When I first open up the program ans start a new project the workspace is blank and grey. No tracks, frame, or project/organize/edit areas are visible. There is a toolbar at the top with file, edit, clip, etc. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
HI. I have adobe premiere elements 9 and mcafee antivirus. At some point over the last 12 months mcafee have delivered an update which stops the codecs from working. Which antivirus software do you use on your machine with adobe premiere? Thanks
Wendy I have to video clips and I want to link them together so that when I put the video onto a CD the video runs as one video can you tell me step by step how to do that??? I have Adobe Premiere Elements 9
How the heck do I change the frame size to 3840x2160@60 ie 4k, out of curiosity? because there is currently no way for me to manipulate presents. I'm thinking this an artificial problem by adobe. Also thanks for the help.(-:
You can choose the frame size when you're setting up your project. Just make sure that you adjust the aspect ratio of the footage to match so your video doesn't look stretched or squashed.
@@WendyWinchester Ahh cool. thanks for the help my adobe version must be out of date then because the highest available resolution for 60fps video is 1280x720p lol... found an old copy of adobe premiere 9
Hello. I using it's program in 2017, and I'm Russian. Yes, I'm from Russia. I want find Russian tutorial, but can't find. Thx u, because you - alone, who I can understand. Thanks again, Wendy ^^

That sounds like a seriously corrupted copy of the program. My only suggestion would be to uninstall it and reinstall.

How did she import the clips? The cursor went to the bottom of the screen and the clips appeared very quickly.
Go to 02:33. It shows I drag the clips from the folder into the program.
This video was a big help to me, cheers!
Excellent Tutorial. Good work!

You're welcome :)
why is it so slow rendering a video and accompanying music?
It honestly depends on the speed of your computer.

It was on my computer when it was given to me
