One teen girl non relative to ivan military her cousin followed ivan military in belangelo forest saw wuth his own eyes secretly what ivan did back in 1987! And did not report to police! I keep saying serial killers are out there people watch but don't speak. I asked her why didn't you report it, Missy pooh told me she wants to see how it plays out.
Yet the crazy thing is matthew milat never met his great uncle Ivan so he was trying to impress and follow the footsteps of a man he never personally knew and poor David Auchtelonie paid that price.
I share your sentiment about the relief that the individual is no longer a threat. It's a tragic loss of young lives, and my condolences go out to all those who lost loved ones. May they rest in peace. 😪
Bravo to the person that insisted the police inspect and find the evidence located in the walls and ceiling of the house where Ivan lived. If it hadn’t been for HIM!! (and yes I KNOW the JUDGES name) who insisted the police inspect within wall and roof cavity! Otherwise the police would have missed this VITAL evidence.
Agree... even if some material is 10 years old.. it's really dark. Too dark. Probably that they just don't care to process clips/pictures properly, still.
Yes, it is, I had a hard time seeing it. Commenting on how the video looked upon viewing is just info the content creator should know. It’s not meant to be offensive in any way toward the unfortunate victims of this vile man and his awful family.
I've asked myself that question many, many times. Psychologists may have answers, but i don't. The favorites always seem to become violent, the least favorites always seem to end themselves.
They couldn't bring anyone other victims into the charges because if they did and couldn't prove connections to milat then he could have skated on all murders due to the fact they already said it was a serial killer, which means if they can't tie him to just one of those victims he could create reasonable doubt that he didn't do any of the crime's which was in direct conflict to what the cops said
There were a lot egos clashing when these crimes were investigated by the NSW police and there has always been a strong suspicion Richard Milat may have been involved. In the end the police were happy just to convict Ivan but they could have done better. This high profile investigation may have been affected by clashes within the police force itself. Clive Small was criticised by at least one detective on the team who was then shafted after being the one to discover the Onions report under the huge pile of information detectives had to sift through. This report was repeatedly overlooked. The constant clamouring for promotions within the police force itself must make for some powerful conflicts since the pay difference itself must be quite significant between an ordinary detective and a more senior figure running the investigation. If the Milats lived in my neighbourhood I would move.
I don't think anyone helped him in the actual murders , But i think his family covered for him and took some of the equipment stole of the backpackers i believe they knew he was doing it. I was on remand with Ivan Milat at long bay and i can say 100 percent he confessed to me that he done it . He admitted it to other people also.
I believe he had friends with similar interests in Canberra. Of course they covered for him. Toxic narcissistic families will do whatever it takes to protect the family name.
Families with misguided loyalty will protect someone like Ivan because if he goes down he’ll try to take them with him. Guilty by association tends to stick with uneducated public opinion.
I think from Boris's interviews he is the one with a moral compass and true compassion I agree with you there. Boris has a soul. I think he has done it tough living with the name "Milat" since these despicable atrocities/murders became known.
I remember watching Wolf Creek and thinking how brutal he treated those backpackers. When he was caught and finally died from cancer in prison the only thought i had was "Good. Hope it was painful."
The guy that helped him on the day I went for a ride with Ivan mid 80s was an older truck driver, if Ivan was 40 ish the truck and trailer driver was late 40s early 50s, black hair, slim tanned ockerish blue singlet slim dusty type.
I give thumbs up to the true crime podcast but I had to give a thumbs down on this particular episode. If I had known there was going to be killing of cats and dogs cast and currently I would not have watched this. I made it to that part and had to stop the video.
Being Australian, all I can say is, thank God Ivan Milat is no longer alive!!
And his nephew murdered his mate when he was just 17.
Yet the crazy thing is matthew milat never met his great uncle Ivan so he was trying to impress and follow the footsteps of a man he never personally knew and poor David Auchtelonie paid that price.
Richard Milat should be rotting in jail
Thank god that animal is gone but I'm sure he had help RIP to all those young men and women who died 😪
I share your sentiment about the relief that the individual is no longer a threat. It's a tragic loss of young lives, and my condolences go out to all those who lost loved ones. May they rest in peace. 😪
Animals are not killers. Only humans.
thats a insult for the animals.

Episode was fairly dark-looking, even with my phone brightness turned up
Iss Free Sis

Probably that they just don't care to process clips/pictures properly, still.
I reckon it’s the update that has caused this anomaly, my phone was much brighter before the last update
So prog is about murders, and all you can comment on is quality of film 🙄 how old are you 16 ?
Yes, it is, I had a hard time seeing it. Commenting on how the video looked upon viewing is just info the content creator should know. It’s not meant to be offensive in any way toward the unfortunate victims of this vile man and his awful family.
Why is it that the favorite child always turns out a problem and/ or a criminal
I've asked myself that question many, many times.
Psychologists may have answers, but i don't.
The favorites always seem to become violent, the least favorites always seem to end themselves.
Always !!! Get real
They feel they have no consequences for their actions; they know and expect that no matter what they do they will be adored
Maybe they get the extra attention because the parents suspects somethings not quite right ???
@@Matilda-yNO bc many favorite children do not NOT become criminals or killers. DA
Rest in peace to the backpackers
I’m sure there are more victims
I agree
Me too. I was surprised at the count in the beginning, I was sure it was more.
They couldn't bring anyone other victims into the charges because if they did and couldn't prove connections to milat then he could have skated on all murders due to the fact they already said it was a serial killer, which means if they can't tie him to just one of those victims he could create reasonable doubt that he didn't do any of the crime's which was in direct conflict to what the cops said
I believe he hunted a lot but wasn’t particularly good at it in the first decades. He seems to have failed more than a few times.
Pure evil

Brother 'Boris' was the only "real human" among them.
There’s always a scapegoat. I know because I was one too.
I think from Boris's interviews he is the one with a moral compass and true compassion I agree with you there. Boris has a soul. I think he has done it tough living with the name "Milat" since these despicable atrocities/murders became known.
Boris seems like a more gentle, moral soul and his family turned their back on him because he was prepared to speak about the truth.
Feels like I’m watching this through cheap sunglasses
I remember watching Wolf Creek and thinking how brutal he treated those backpackers. When he was caught and finally died from cancer in prison the only thought i had was "Good. Hope it was painful."
True but wolf creek wasn't directly in based on Ivan milat it was actually based on several true crimes including Bradley Murdoch
12 brothers and who knows how many sisters😂 Milat family so big, the best approach to this, is to know what you're up against
Rip to those people
What a family
Plenty of families like that around .
Sad!
There’s are few families like this in Tasmania I lived next to one for years.
Redpa avoid the place like the plague
LATE VIEWER FROM PHILIPPINES
I feel sorry for Borris ❤
Woman definitely deserves respect not like that
Th judge wore that horse blanket on his head.
Too dark!
Get A life...
💯 true and fair comment
For me, this family is more than strange! I also think that instead of investing in weapons they should have invested in teeth ........
This family is definitely a toxic narcissistic family. I grew up in a family very much like this and still wear the scars. It ain’t fun.
😂and eyebrow waxing!😂
The family appears to enjoy what's gone down certainly nothing to be proud of ...
Creepy grins, all of them!
I have a great feeling that Richard has something to do with it
This Milat family shld all be in jail this man didnt come from thin air
He's the most hated Australian ever
On par with Martin Bryant
The guy that helped him on the day I went for a ride with Ivan mid 80s was an older truck driver, if Ivan was 40 ish the truck and trailer driver was late 40s early 50s, black hair, slim tanned ockerish blue singlet slim dusty type.
Do tell us more!,back story's plz
RIP Ivan. Forever missed, forever in our hearts 💖
They are as guilty I believe they knew he was doing this
Why does Boris pause the interview?
EVIL
It was very sad
Once his locked up killings stopped
This is hard to watch mostly because i cant see anything its so dark
I can’t see. 👀
The family look wired there eyes and eyes brows scary looking faces
Crime Investigation Australia families of crime: backpack killer.
Definitely had help I'd say
Any of the original CIA episodes still online ? with Steve Liebman instead of Matt Doran nothing against Matt Doran Steve sounds better
I lived near him 🥴
I give thumbs up to the true crime podcast but I had to give a thumbs down on this particular episode. If I had known there was going to be killing of cats and dogs cast and currently I would not have watched this. I made it to that part and had to stop the video.
This is lifted from an Australian doco. You ought to be copywrite struck. Like this is just straight up ripped off footage. Shame on you
I agree BUT sometimes just a new take on it or things being presented in a different order can spark someone’s memory so who’s to judge.❤
