Austin's Growing Film Industry (1988)

This short video produced by the City of Austin and David Gibson documents some of the film industry activity in Austin in the late 1980s. The video features behind the scenes footage from HEARTBREAK HOTEL (1988) and NADINE (1987), an interview with HEARTBREAK HOTEL producer Lynda Obst, and excerpts from NADINE director Robert Benton’s introduction to the film at the gala premiere event at the Paramount Theater.
