Better cpu, faster memory, smaller, wireless controllers shaped like the originals, HDMI, ssd storage and dlss upscaling. Honestly I think it would outsell the series X
@edwarddavid7893 They cannot use DLSS because it has to be implemented in the game code. Without temporal data, there's no way to increase the resolution with real detail, so they'd just have to upscale the image, and then the results would look bad. Unless microsoft will use software emulation to run xbox classic games it will be impossible to increase resolution. I personally do not mind playing at 480p. The thing is, 6'th gen era games (xbox classic / PS2 / GC / DC) were made with low quality assets in mind and increasing resolution only reveals more imperfections (textures no longer look sharp, low poly models and LOD transition is 10x more noticeable ruining the imerssion). At 640x480, even PS2 games have reasonably sharp textures and convincing models, yet alone xbox classic games. But the 480p resolution has to be scaled in a special way to make it look good, because otherwise the image will be extremely ugly (pixelated and blurry) on modern 4K display. On the PC I'm using integer scaling to get perfectly sharp pixels and then I use CRT phosphor mask emulation to remove pixelation. The upscaled image looks so good at 4K that even my real SD CRT has worse image at native 640x480i (standard SD CRT TVs blurred the image way too much, while CRT phosmor mask allows me to emulate PVM / CRT monitor that has way sharper image). Retrotink 4K can upscale 480i/p with equally good results, but the problem is that the original Xbox has a somewhat blurry picture from the component video output, so results arnt nearly as good as even on the PS2. I know there are HDMI mods for the original Xbox, but I'm not willing to take the risk. Xbox emulation on PC is getting better and better, so even if Microsoft doesn't release a modern Xbox classic, it's only a matter of time before every great game from that platform will be playable on PC :).

Only about 50/1000 games are backwards compatible
Nothing beats an original game on original hardware. Playing older games on a newer console is cool for convenience but there’s an entire community of people who still play original hardware. You have to realize there were nearly 30M worldwide of these devices sold. And that’s just Xbox. For PS2 it was close to 150+M. They’re still out there and people will fix them to keep them running. Especially with how the state of gaming is becoming all digital.
This mod is done more for the mod scene. All the emulators, homebrew etc.
you are 10 years too late if not more
Now tell that to all everyone in thd retro scene

Of all the people in df, i honestly feel jaeger adds nothing too the table. Df should honestly just replace him
To the table, not too. Also, what are you useful for?
@@KarlTheExpert not wasting time quarrelling on UA-cam
No new Xbox hardware, only going back to old technology. Xbox is done especially with the world wide computer shutdown
You make zero sense.

PS2 >>>>>>> trashbox
Wasn't the PS2 very hard to develop for while the Dreamcast, Gamecube, and Xbox were easy to develop for? The only thing the PS2 has going for it is the crazy particle effects.
Imagine being so triggered you have to defend your corporate brand 😂
@@mikeuk666 That's unfortunately the nature of console/computer wars. People are still up in arms about the ZX Spectrum vs Commodore 64 war.
