India needs multiple financial centers…why are we constraining ourselves to only Mumbai? For a country the size of India we need multiple financial centers. Gift city is trying to get there and we should all support it rather than getting down to regionalism narrow mindedness. Mumbai will remain Mumbai, let other cities also come up. USA has multiple financial centers like NYC, LA, Miami….I don’t see them arguing with each other or trying to one up the other. Look at the big picture of India as a whole.
@@daniel11111 As a matter of fact, I have been living in the US for a decade now. Don't try to teach me the internal politics of US. India is divided into states based on languages; US is not. People from one state don't beat up people in other state here in US. No one feels like an outsider. Any internal politics existing is non-significant in nature. Get your facts in order.
@@sajanpandya3297 dont try to teach you? Who are you? There was no conversation with you in the first place. Perhaps that should have been the first lesson over your 'decade' of stay in the US.
@@sajanpandya3297 so the brilliant takeaway after a decade of stay is that the US is a different country with a different history and a different culture has a completely different set of problems? Gotcha
It's Greenfield (NEW) city infra will take time. And Indian government imposed restriction on building height & even today those restrictions are followed
Mumbai is naturally growth capital of the global earthbsoon Mumbaikar are finance NY London singapore dubai big ventures very recently without the special needs
All of them are being torn down in the past few years. 🤣 Evergrande, and other real estate market value has lost 3 Trillion Dollars in the last 3 years. 😂

Well said...Practical and logical...no nonsense message 👌👍
If you think nyc, Miami and LA don’t ’argue’ with one another, that’s because you don’t live in the US and have no idea about internal politics.

The infra and buildings doesn’t look anything like Singapore or Shanghai in GIFT CITY.

It suppose to take off 20 years ago.
Meanwhile China built 50 mega cities that look like heaven to Indians.

@@PankajSingh-nf2tfyea, in 20 years China built 45,000 km of high speed rail and multiple mega cities. And here you are triumphing over 16 buildings.
There is not one building in the gift city that wow factor…..
