    I received my replacement from you and this video will help save me some time. The wiring question and your answer also helped. Thank you

    Hi. I'm wondering the if I ordered the right one. My cage only has 2 holes and the clip in wires are a bit different. I drilled 2 new holes and you send the other wires. Should I change out the wire clip? I have two female white wires.

      Thanks for contacting us. Just to verify, what stove make and model are you putting the blower into? Also, do you have a part number on the blower you ordered? Happy to cross check with our parts team and make sure we give you the right direction. Thanks!

      @@EarthSense I have a pelpro flat top and I ordered the 238943Pellethead Replacement Glowb...SKU: KS-5020-1050 | ACCVFNAS | PH-1500CWFM-KIT

      @@VeeLo1 Thanks for the information. I believe you can just change out the wire clip/end here and be good to go, however I am running it past our parts manager for confirmation. I'll be back in touch ASAP. Thanks!

      @@VeeLo1 I have heard back from our parts manager: If installing into a Dayton blower housing this is normal. The PH-1500CWFM was intended for the Fasco housing but with slight modifications will work in a Dayton housing as well.
      I believe in both applications the “noise reduction ring” is not used. Metal on metal due to short pemb studs.
      Let us know if you have any other questions. Appreciated.

    Hi I ordered a replacement from another company but I can’t for the life of me remove the housing from my old fan. I even bought the Allen wrench like you have in the video any tips?

    • @EarthSense
      @EarthSense  16 днів тому

      Thanks for contacting us. Most fans/motors are designed to be removed from the housing, but we have run across some where they can't. You can try to use some penetrating oil on the screws and/or heat the screws up with a pencil torch to expand the metal and see if they will come out. If not, you may need to return that one and order the assembly with the motor and housing. Keep us posted, happy to assist.

    Will that work with an englander blower housing also

    • @EarthSense
      @EarthSense  3 роки тому +1

      Hey Bud, depends on the Englander model you have, but yes for most you can just replace the motor and utilize the existing housing. If you know which model Englander you have let us know and we can steer you in the right direction. Thanks!

    I just received this blower, what size is the allen wrench, I can't seem to find anything to fit it.

      Charles, Our service tech just stated he uses a 7/64" T-Handle Allen Wrench. A Metric 119mm / 19mm Allen Wrench should also work. Any other questions please let us know. Thanks.

    I have same model #but my original cage bigger and why 3 wires with the new one the original has 2 wires

    • @EarthSense
      @EarthSense  3 роки тому

      Thanks for the message Duane. Yeah, depending on the blower make and model there will be some variances to the size and type of the inner squirrel cage paddle wheel. With the wiring, most new blowers will have the 3rd green ground wire. The ground can be left disconnected if you don't have a receiving wire in your model. Any other questions please let us know. Thanks

      @EarthSense  3 роки тому +2

      Hi Renae, happy to help. If you do not have the green (ground) wire lead you can leave that disconnected. I would suggest you connect the white to white wire and black to your pink wire. Keep us posted. Thanks!

    How can I know if convection motor is damaged, mine is not running?

    • @EarthSense
      @EarthSense  5 років тому

      Ernesto, Let's run the motor to direct power to ensure the motor itself is running properly. Here is a video on creating a test cord so you can do this. ua-cam.com/video/rlmiCYI2WPk/v-deo.html

      No, 1500 RPM, not CFM. Any other questions please let us know.
