:,D Glad I could help out! Here's some more tips if you don't mind reading more xD ; * You don't need to water the trees. c: (when you water it, in the bottom left it said as much.) * The Queen bee gathers 1 bee per day on her own, but you can speed up the process by adding bees yourself. Once 10 bees have gathered, they'll start making honey every 3 days. You'll need a smoker when the bees have honey. * You need to buy a feeding place for the chicken and feed it for it to lay eggs! (I think a chicken coop is necessary too to keep the chicken happy.) Sometimes the egg ends up outside of the fence, but not too far. They are difficult to spot if the outside area is covered in flowers, though. * You should complete Riah's quest (it's a main quest, so it's not going to expire and is important enough). She will give you a fishing rod and then you can fish! Pro tip on fishing; you can fish in pond water and ocean water (you can catch different things). If you don't want to run really far to reach ponds/ocean, you can gather water blocks by digging them up. xD You already have a little pond by your house, so that takes care of the pond water. * You misunderstood about the carrots, but with your mistake you got some golden carrot seeds which is super lucky! :D What you misunderstood is that you don't NEED the carrots, I was merely suggesting that if you were going to make soup to earn profit, I suggest carrot soup. (You need a chopping station and a boiling station, though.) *The crop that you'll need are sugar beets (and 5 pumpkins), but they're an autumn crop, so it's long ways away. I do suggest having a boiling station and a cutting station when autumn arrives too, for the sugar beets. Don't buy the veggies themselves, just the seeds! Otherwise it's a bit of a waste of money. * The market and the shop have the same prices, from my observations. Not 100% sure. * Next time you encounter a star jelly, just right click on it to get it. :D * The best storage space right now is a bookshelf, which is where I store all my bugs(you can buy more shelves at Leif's), HOWEVER, I heard that there is an update coming where they'll introduce a museum! Which means better options for displaying your bugs and stuff! :D *In the festival area, where there were a lot of crates and barrels(that you wanted to sell) ,I am pretty sure you can clear the area of them. I haven't had anything negative happen and when a festival comes, the area changes anyway (but goes back to how it was after a festival ends). * Don't dillydally with placing the cows down for too long! You'll need their milk for making soup. Do put them in a closed space, because they do wander! You'll need a milker to get milk from them. *In an event that a cow or chicken escape you and wander really far, get a capture crate. It will box them back up so you can bring them back. They will be hungry after that, though, from what I've observed. *Buy your cows trough food and put it in the troughs! c: * Don't forget to pet all the animals daily! :D Your doggo might bring you some things too! ;3
I love to see you playing this game Beef! I've been playing myself and it's super addictive. A few things I've learned: Selling those crates do get you good money, but don't break them near/inside shops- watch for the message that says 'building furnishing requirements unfulfilled!' that means you've messed up someone's shop... not sure of the repercussions of that. Each season in your game will give you a few new seeds to plant, next season there will be carrot seeds available! There are always bugs everywhere tbh, I would sell them all for now so you have money to get you going, collect one of each later. Keep 2 'rhino beetles' that you find on trees, youll need those to make the baitbox needed for the fishing spot when you get to that eventually. Go exploring! you'll find lots of bugs, materials like acorns, when you get to the beach there are tons of shells to sell for money (like animal crossing lol), and in the forests there are tiny wooden 'loot chests' thatll give you Petals when you open them! Hope you're having fun playing!!
Really enjoying the Staxel series, Beef! Keep up the good work, looking forward to the next one! Would love to see some longer episodes if you have the time too 😊
Just a tip if you continue on with Staxel, you can buy the blueprint for blocks at the building shop so you don't have to keep wasting petals on buying blocks
1 feed the chicken 2 bees come every so often but you can speed up the process with adding worker bees 3 you can hold click on the watering can and look atop your crops you don’t have to click every plot and the star in the tree is worth a good amount, really enjoying this game and your series!
You need to put chicken coop and feeding area, for your Barn, you need to build it and put troughs. you can hold your watering can for faster. for starting grind, you can sell all your bugs(except bees), its easy to find.
You need to buy a chicken feeding area at the store or at the market you have been selling bugs at. Also you have to pet and feed your animals to get them to love you so that you can get things from them.
Glad to see you're playing both. I feel it's unfair for people to say one is better than the other as they're different types of games and great in their own way.
Just an FYI, you should sell that cow crate for an easy 9000 petals. It really helps you out. Riah gives you the ability to fish after building the fishing spot. Fish is another good way to make money. Make sure you check on your pet every day. He has a chance to get you golden seeds. Golden seeds are an amazing way to get money. They grow crops that are worth way more than normal.i should know, I got golden sugar cane seeds. It is a bad idea to sell those horned Beatles, you need to keep 2 of them to make the tackle box for the fishing spot. I am thinking of making a google docs or video explaining the basics of Staxel.
In some building attics they have lots of crates and barrels (town hall, tavern, i dont remember any other)m also there's a mine somewhere in the map and they have a lot of crates too you can sell it and gather 20k+ petals, it goes away in an instant tho lol
Once you have a Queen Bee in the Apiary, she will rally one bee each day (that I've found) until it's full, and then they'll start producing honey. You'll need a smoker in order to collect the honey, though. With the chicken, I know you need to have a feeding tray for them, but they DO lay eggs every day if they're fed. Hope that helps!
This game is so cool! I'm late to the party because I was without internet for 2 weeks but now I'm catching up on everything haha. Please continue to play this
I have to admit, I really look forward to seeing you put out new videos! Staxel is so relaxing (especially with your wonderful commentary). My Time in Portia has also piqued my interest after watching you play. I personally hope you keep playing both. Both games are early access right? So we don't know how much content each one has? I would like to see how many hours you can put in before feeling like it's boring. Again, thanks for making videos! I am cheering for you to get more viewers!
Oh, by the way Beef, this game supports Co-op, if you ever want to bring in any of your friends along for the journey. xP It's also worth looking into the workshop, the game already has quite a few neat little mods for it. c:
This game is so cute that I just had to buy it; can't wait until it is installed. Portia is cute too but the fighting is kind of weird, lol. The crafting is cool though, and so are the graphics. I'd just play both :-).
You can sell one of your cow's to receive a nice infusion of starter cash. (I'd keep one for the free milk though). Edit: W/ the fenced in area for your ranch animals, you'll want to put down a block then put the fence on top, cow's atleast can sometimes get over just the fence if there is anything w/in 2 bocks that they can get up on (like chickens or other cows).
It's always good to give a fair chance to games. That said, Portia has now chewed up 10 hours of my time. I'm being attacked by bats and birds, and spend large amounts of time underground or chopping down trees.
you dont have to water the trees the chicken needs food, check the store for its food and its trough, its not called a trough but there is a different name for it
Two questions: 1. Is there any sort of item in this game that is like a chest in minecraft? 2. Is that music edited in by VintageBeef or is it ingame? Its so cute
I suspect and would hope that since they have them in the game along with farming that the bees may make your crops mature faster or maybe make them give more seeds when mature and of course give you tasty tasty honey when doing so.
Wait, you put a home for bee's right next to your house and your windows look like they are still broken. Recipe for disaster I think! Lol ( Yes I know this thread is weeks old by now, but I just had to comment anyway : ) )
please stick with this one, it's so good, I'm glued!!!

What to do when your pet is unhealthy?

I'm loving this series so far & hope you keep playing it until you get bored.

You can put bugs and all things in the bookcase/ shelves
I love watching u play Stxel way better please continue the series
Love all your series but, I LOVE VINTAGECRAFT CANT WAIT FOR EVERY NEW EPISODE! Great job Beef!!
this game is so addicting! I really hope you continue this
You need to put chicken coop and feeding area,
for your Barn, you need to build it and put troughs.
you can hold your watering can for faster.
for starting grind, you can sell all your bugs(except bees), its easy to find.
Its so much fun watching you play this game, your comments and reactions are great. Keep it up.
I actually like this game so far. I hope it continues for a bit
I also want to play this game, looks like so much fun!
I believe the chicken needs a coop and to be fed BTW love the series!
I love this series! I love ALL your series. Thanks for not giving up on UA-cam. You are a great entertainer!
yes please, more Staxel

I really like watching both staxel and Portia but if I had to pick one to watch the most it would have to be staxel.
That market place you saw, you can actually take everything there and sell all of it. The barrels altogether I think will get you about 2000 petals.
This game is so cool! I'm late to the party because I was without internet for 2 weeks but now I'm catching up on everything haha. Please continue to play this

You can look above the item when you sell it and it will tell you the price
Oh, by the way Beef, this game supports Co-op, if you ever want to bring in any of your friends along for the journey. xP
It's also worth looking into the workshop, the game already has quite a few neat little mods for it. c:
I am still loving this gameplay!
really liking the series hoping that you continue to record for this game
This game is so cute that I just had to buy it; can't wait until it is installed.
Portia is cute too but the fighting is kind of weird, lol. The crafting is cool though, and so are the graphics. I'd just play both :-).
When I saw the barn, I just thought, "Oh Beef.." XD
You can sell one of your cow's to receive a nice infusion of starter cash. (I'd keep one for the free milk though).

I did the same thing, because I was in a mega stretch for money. Selling the cow gave me the opportunity to get Riah's Mission done. :)
I miss My Little Blacksmith! Please bring back!
It's always good to give a fair chance to games. That said, Portia has now chewed up 10 hours of my time. I'm being attacked by bats and birds, and spend large amounts of time underground or chopping down trees.
I am loving that serie
When I first saw the barn I started to crack up
Really love you catching bugs too 🤔😊
In your first vid of this like 5 mins in I bought the game and LOVE it :D
you dont have to water the trees
the chicken needs food, check the store for its food and its trough, its not called a trough but there is a different name for it
Love the voxels in this game.
Dat barn doh!
Psst play staxel like all the time
yeyyyy ♥ I love when you play this game!
16:45 - 16:47 Why did it make me laugh so hard ? XDD
The chicken need food just like the dog
Do both beef
Awesome game! You should do more!
I used the broken down building for the barn, lol
STAXEL PLEASEEEEE
This game looks great but it is very bright! Ahh my eyes! 😜
"Mya" 😂🤣😂
Love this series
Winston, now i have the image of an english bulldog stuck in my mind
At 10:50 Beef splits a stack of two butterflies. Anyone know how this is done?
Right click! c:
Thanks!
I freakin LOVE it.
When you watered the orange tree there was a pop up that said you don't need to water it.
Aahh, danget!! Made me laugh, thanx
Don't forget to feed your chicken 😊
Your poor chicken is hungry, you need a feeding area for chickens (its like a tiny pan), and you have to buy for for them daily
Pick mushrooms and save you can make a meal later
Beef, I am pretty sure the chicken needs to eat. Can you check just to be sure?
I am so invested now.. can we also have a mushroom farm? (anyone in the chat know?) This game is on my wishlist :D
Mushrooms grow randomly (seem to appear after/duiring rain.) No farms for them, however. Sorry D:
feed your chicken lol
staxel feels more genuine than Portia. Portia just feels mechanical for some reason.
Two questions: 1. Is there any sort of item in this game that is like a chest in minecraft? 2. Is that music edited in by VintageBeef or is it ingame? Its so cute
Son of a nice lady!
Just trap beef... Its the best way to make that popsik
staxel
Portia looks like a better game, but Staxel looks like a better series.
so much cheaper to buy an orange!
I would put the bees in a field of flowers.
I suspect and would hope that since they have them in the game along with farming that the bees may make your crops mature faster or maybe make them give more seeds when mature and of course give you tasty tasty honey when doing so.
if i had to pick between staxel and my time at portia i would choose my time at portia
Do them both
Wait, you put a home for bee's right next to your house and your windows look like they are still broken. Recipe for disaster I think! Lol ( Yes I know this thread is weeks old by now, but I just had to comment anyway : ) )
Don't worry Beef, you are pronouncing Leif properly. People are messign with you.

You should check out stardew valley.
this game wastes a lot of block space
IT'S REE-UH, NOT RI-AH!!!
