The most beautiful part of california, i moved from long island NY to oceanside, best thing I ever done in my life
Chris is soo detailed oriented and his great energy is very infectious. Thank you so much Chris for your videos. Your videos motivate us to take trips to these beautiful places.
Thanks Padma!
What a nice comment to Chris!
This is great! The area doesn’t get much attention with San Diego so close. I used to love surfing in Encinitas growing up. Great spot for beginners!
Right on Jake!
This is great. I did not spend any time here last time I was in Socal so this is super nice to see places I have not been before. I will need to make a special stop next time.
Especially if you're through here in March-May for the flower fields :)
I love Carlsbad, it’s very pretty there and it’s a very clean beach
Nice Video The places you missed we want to keep to ourselves anyway.
Lol lots of missed places but you're right those are for the locals
I would add Carlsbad is also home to many craft breweries: Pure Project and Pizza Port in the Village, Karl Strauss near Flower Fields and, to name a couple, Burgeon and Rouleur are inland near Palomar Airport.
Amazing video! You give such amazing details. I love it. Thank you!
Thx for all your videos. We always check your channel before we travel. We just booked and Airbnb close to the beach in Carlsbad!
Awesome!
amazing video for Carlsbad California Beach. Thank you so much.
Thanks Ramzy!
I live in LA and go to Carlsbad and Vista all the time. I’m always calling on customers in the business sections and had no idea until this video there was so much to see. I will probably head there this weekend for something to do. Thank you!
We moved to Carlsbad in 2015 and hope we never leave!
I just found this channel a few days ago, and it’s awesome, I love your videos. Can’t wait to visit those places. Your vibe is amazing. Greetings from culiacan mexico 🇲🇽
Awesome Awesome! Gracias!
We Love your videos!! Thank you!!
Thanks Debbie for watching and for the kind words!
I love the Carlsbad area, going south to San Diego. Some of the best weather in the U.S. year-round! Carlsbad has a half and full marathon in January, along gorgeous stretches of undeveloped beaches. Stunning, sunny, temperate weather!
Yea, didn't like all the cloudy marine layer stuff..always thought Vista had the best weather. More sun
Great fishing in the area.
That watermelon treat looked amazing
It was! :)
The watermelon bing su looked amazing
Great video!!!!!!!!! Used to visit my brother in Oceanside.... but never visited Carlsbad (except for LegoLand). Will definitely spend a day there next time. And will sure have that watermelon bingsu""" looks so good.
Carlsbad is definitely worth a visit... especially if you're just next door in Oceanside :)
Now I want know Carlsbad!
I can tell your daughter is already craving In-N-Out Burger! Carlsbad looks really nice especially with those flower fields. The watermelon dessert looked delicious! Watermelon plus shave ice along with soft serve ice cream is the perfect mix!
Yeah... I've got to get her started loving In-N-Out early :)
Thanks Chris. Great Video all. Enjoy your weekend.
Thanks, you too!
@@YellowProductions Seriously Chris.....you have over 202 subscribers and find time to read and comment. It means a lot and you have my upmost respect.
Hi Chris. Thanks for the history of Carlsbad. I always thought it was a bigger place. I like this small village feel. That brisket burger looked like a some messy good eating. Looks like you got another generation of In N Out burger with the little explorer. She is so cute. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Thanks James! Can't go wrong with a sloppy BBQ brisket sandwich :)
Amazing!- ED
Very beautiful and spectacular places👍👍💯💯💯🤝🔔🤝❤❤💝💝
Thanks Jafari!
Great video👍
Another cool beach you have introduced us to. I love the flower fields. And I love the look of the Windmill food hall too. This will be another one for us to check out when we are next in Southern California. My early 2021 convention in San Diego was just officially cancelled yesterday so it probably won't be anytime soon. :( But thanks for sharing Carlsbad with us! We'll get there one day.
Bummer on the convention cancellation. A food hall in a windmill is just neat if you ask me :)
HI CHRIS THIS IS CHRISTINA THANKS FOR THE INFORMATIONS IS LOOKS SO GOOD AND I LIKE THIS BEACH I THINK IWILL COME AND ENJOY THE DAY.
I lived in Carlsbad 2005-2007 and me & the Russians frequented the exclusiveness of "Witch Creek Winery" and the also exclusive Jeti-parking lot right on the south part of beach you forgot.
Hey Chris, I've been enjoying your Southern California videos recently because I'm going to San Diego next week to attend an event at the Japanese Friendship Gardens! I'll be staying in Carlsbad with a friend from high school.
Right on! Enjoy San Diego!
In addition to flowers are the strawberries! Grab a few buckets and a wagon, and have at it! In the Spring, of course. We love it.
Thanks for the tip on the strawberries.. ill always see them off the freeway but have never done it
Cool!
If you like beer, pure project at the village in Carlsbad is a must to check out. My second favorite brewery in SD just behind Modern times. They are also part of the program that donates 1% of revenue to the planet. So can’t complain about drinking excellent beer and helping the planet at the same time.
Thanks for the tip Will!
In summary, not a town I want to include in my SoCal itinerary. Thanks for the comments that finally convinced me.
Awesome job chris I love lefo
Thanks Adam :)
Your welcome
I love the beach and checked out Carlsbad one time for a birthday getaway at a hotel. I stayed at Beach Terrace Inn and it's oceanfront which was nice. I checked out the flower fields which was a popular spot during spring. Haven't checked out the other spots showed in the video but that's the beauty of exploring. Now I want to go back and check out the walkways. Now I know thanks for the beach videos. Keep them coming 😃!
Thanks for the tip on the Beach Terrace Inn. P.S. Did you suggest on my last live stream about doing a video about being ready for travel? Can you let me know a little more about what kind of content you'd like to see in a video like that?
@@YellowProductions Hi Chris! Yes a video on how to prepare the house when you're gonna leave on vacation. I know one tip like stopping the mail service for a few days so mail doesn't pile up or people know you're away. Automatic lights, take out all the trash, unplug electronics, pets, etc. Some ideas on how leave the house ready when you're going to be gone for a while.
We just came back from our San Diego vacation. We stopped at Miguel’s Cocina in Shelter Island 🏝 Great Mexican food! Also, my teenage daughter tried In and Out burger 🍔 for the first time. She loved it!
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed Miguel's and In N Out burger!
Love your videos. Really appreciate the alkaline water and the Tip Top Meats restaurant recommendation. My wife and I went to Tip Top Meats for dinner, two dinner entrees and an extra side order for only $30 total. Unreal in today hyper inflation standard.
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed Tip Top!
Take a shot every time Chris says “ Carlsbad” 😂
That's a great game on almost all of my city guide videos! :)
Carlsbad is really nice 😎🌊🦈
It sure is Rick!
Nice overview but some lost opportunities to recognize some small businesses, especially in the Village that really make us special. Also, as we discover or share areas, many people like to hear about the craft beer and cocktail scene. There were no mentions at all about the award winning breweries. And what about bike or golf cart rentals? The best way to cruise around some of the bustling zones. One of my favorite things is our skateboarding and surf culture that is really fun to take note of. Keep exploring and sharing the true heart of these communities!
Thanks Shelby! Only so much I can pack in to one video! Those are some good topics for the next one
Cool video🤠🤠🤠✌✌✌
Thanks Koysta
@@YellowProductions Do you live here?
Have lived here for 40 years. Overall a good summary...I would love to give a few suggestions on beaches and restaurants, but want to save for locals.
Thx for mentioning restrooms.
My pleasure. Restrooms are important to me! :)
I grew up there before all the cement was put in along the beaches and the eucalyptus Grove was almost twice the size with a big ditch and small grand canyon area to hike. Before the mall, the area was all water wildlife sanctuary. Not the same place I grew up in. Population was 12,000 back then.
Hi, please visit Oman and explore the wonderful n natural places
I'd like to some day Vaseem!
Do the grunion run at that beach?
Mark Wiens @ 7:19
Currently at the Windmill Food Court and wanted to try that watermelon thing..Bing Haus is gone. Too bad, it looked good.
Bummer!
I live in Aviara Carlsbad. The best Mexican Food restaurant is definitely not Miguel’s … Try Pollo Maria’s on Harding street in Carlsbad Village . Los Olas is more trendy but has great Margaritas. For Italian food go to Jay’s in the Village such a cute place . There is a new place in Bressi Ranch (inland) called Casero very good . For sushi go to Tomoyama Sushi off Aviara Parkway
Thanks for the tips!
I like Carlsbad but the issue i have with it is that its very hilly and most stuff is spread out. Its not very walkable and you need a car to live there unless you want to live in the village area but its mostly small shops no big retailers
Hi G M. All true!
anyone notice he said Miguel's cochina haha
Yes, I picked up on that too! I've been to Miguel's and luckily it is very clean.
*Karlovy Vary* guyz
Traffic noise everywhere!
Pacific Highway is a busy road!
Carlsbad Resort~*INN****
LOVE CARLSBAD , HAVE FRIENDS THAT LIVE THERE THANKS
Nice Linda!
Sadly, Bing Haus is permanently closed. When my wife and I saw that awesome watermelon dessert we were so excited and looked it up. If anyone has suggestions on other cool desserts in the area let us know we're going there soon.
Ah. Bummer J!
HANDLES ice cream by the train station!!!
You get your burgers opposite of me, I only like onions, no lettuce or ketchup
Who is from Carlsbad?
1817 victorian house? I bet they are still waltzing in there when the living are asleep 💤
FYI the
The visitor center is permanently closed
I assumed it was due to COVID that they were closed

Me: who lives in a small town with only about 20,000 people...
EDIT: Just wanted to be funny. I'm currently driving to carlsbad beach for vacation. And I'm bored lol.
I hope you enjoy Carlsbad! :)
