i remember when joel was just trying to learn the controls in that first scene. look how far hes come
I love how Joel went from Donkey Kong sliding through a table to tjis masterpiece lmao
Don't forget the baby
My partner just showed me the videos of the making of this a couple of weeks back and it has become a staple of my daily viewing habits. Honestly one of my favourite things in existence

5:29 Joel got some actual animation skills
@Dandyboi I don't like that part
that took him 1 hour to animate
@@ascendedcat260 it's a joke, i'm toad

This puts Joker to shame.
Who else cried when the duck said “you were the bro I never had” and then died
i love how it progressively goes from haha shitty luigi diner to full-on cop chasing with real movie animation techniques and so much detail. like you can tell when he learns something new
I said this before the reupload and I'll say it again. Watching Joel's steady improvement in his animating skills throughout the course of these streams has been an absolute treat
He should try sfm sometime
@@retrokingranch I hear SFM is an absolute friggin' nightmare
@@adirblazkowics7717
Not after you get used to it. Plus, I'm pretty sure Joel can get a head start with it after all his time on movie maker. Sfm isn't much different to an editing software like vegas pro (video timeline, add sounds, etc), but yes, it can very well be intimidating to a noob, especially the cluttered ui.
@@retrokingranch Until you start finding the weird glitches and shit SFM has. People have lots of issues with setting colors on objects, and it sometimes makes light effects a rave show.
@@adirblazkowics7717
Yeah, that's still very common. Sfm is still a beta, I believe.
i dont think ive ever seen a piece of media before with this many puns lol
Hey, I know you.
They were "pasta" their prime.
Xavier Renegade Angel is the overlord of jokes/puns per minute. Every line of dialogue has multiple puns.
It was "imPastable" to resist puns.
why did you stop uploading, the virus took your progress but I’m confused that you didn’t try again.

Those arent ears?
Or how Duck jumps from one side of the restaurant to the other after the flashback. I absolutely love the incosisiticys that make this movie so much better for the fact that it's like an easter egg

it has good tweening, timing, comedic timing, a good feel of bouncyness and all! nicely done.
Joel. This is absolutely incredible. The improvements definitely showed as the video went on. That Mario Kart scene? That Luigi cape scene? Things of brilliance.
