I love how Babymetal has developed an even bigger following throughout this pandemic, as people find out what they've been missing via UA-cam. Koba's not going to be able to close the book on this, it's way more real than anyone could have imagined. They're truly a Japanese national treasure.
Su was already a GOAT in her teens, the world is blessed every time she picks up that mic.
That is so accurate. It was December of 2020, stuck in the house in a UA-cam rabbit hole. I listened to something...can't remember what it was. One of the suggestions on the right was Catch Me if You Can. I clicked on it. The Kami Band were doing their solos and I was so impressed...THEN 3 adorable little girls came running out chanting, and my jaw literally dropped open. I've been hooked ever since. Couldn't believe they had been around so long and I'd never seen them. So glad I did. I love their music. It lifts me up when I'm feeling down.

It's hard not to like this band, everything about them is great - the songs, the singing the dancing, the musicians, the stage show, the crowds, the combination of cuteness, heavy grooves, and the sheer joy of their performances. There's really nothing out there that comes close.

Their movements are so in sync yet distinctive, if i can describe their dance
Moa : Sweet expressive, she used more flow and face expression.
Yui : Precision, detailed and no compromise in any movement.
Su : Brutal 🤣,she might be has hypermobility on her joints, i've never seen anyone move their limb like that.
Moa’s smiles and expressions on stage give me life energy

And Su is just a goddess of the stage
okay so su has a 'unique' dancing style (well, when she was younger anyways).. shes a singer after all xD
love how they have naturally expressive face that shows how passionate they are when performing.
I think that came with practice. Tons and TONS of training/practice. They make it look easy!
if u love music who show expressive faces, you should check out ATARASHII GAKKO!. Their genre isnt metal though.
I only became aware of these people a couple of days ago. Every video is more impressive than the last. The precision with which these girls perform their moves is unreal. And the Kabuki influence in the choreography is riveting. I don't think I've ever seen a better dance team.

The idea of idols having the audience be the metal voices is probably the most creative thing I’ve ever seen anyone do. Like they’re just so willing to come together and make the songs powerful alongside the performers themselves. GJ is probably my favourite of the whole album they have.

Then i discovered sakura gakuin. Now i only listen to SG, and whatever that spawned from that group (including babymetal of course).

19 seconds in.... Su's face is fierce. So much passion in every song. I know she is a superstar now but the future is there to be taken by this young lady. Our Queen. I am so proud of her and Moa. Momoko is killing this performance too.

I think she is the best throughout the entire choreo of YAVA. She moves exactly on beat and her movements are very flowy. Really eye-chatching. Her facial expressions are also on point every time.

Probably not because of language barrier but different type of customer/consumer. Metal folk are more into music and not seeing those idol as sex symbol.

They made metal fun and that for me really matters. Our metal sisters are sweet Angels and with a badass Kami Band to back them. We need a little, fun, joy, innocence and cuteness in metal and these young ladies bring it.

Su and Moa decided they didn't want to "replace" Yui with another permanent member, so Yui's part is now played by one of (i think) 5 different "Avengers" (all of them Sakura Gakuin girls), depending on availability.
That BAND!!!... Please someone do a write up on the guitarists. How they get their tone,and the history of each member.
They have social media accounts BOH (bass), Hideki (drums), Ohmura (guitar), Leda (guitar), Isao (guitar). BOH and Ohmura are very active, the just have a livestream with a BABYMETAL dancer a few days ago.
Between this and about four or five videos (minimum) that are hanging around here of this song, there are around 5 million views. That, in my opinion, should show Amuse that an official video is needed (live, since as we know the song is not recent).
This is one of the top fan favorites songs.
Also, they should play it more often.
The choreography with the front girls are amazing. The musicians are phenomenal... Have been a fan about 5 year's. Keep it up...
