I had been setting up that play for like 15 minutes haha. I bullied them off the nearby hill and then used spybots and arbiters to clear the walls and static up there and finally had jammer bots and AA bots cover the approach so they didn't see the wall of units till it was too late. Thanks for the cast Brightworks!
Shoutout to you for sportsmanship, keeping the team together in the chat the whole game 🙏 good example for the community, unlike some others on your team 😂
BTW, there IS some kind of "lore" in this game. MAnkind started a great war, and perfected their war machines to that state, what war machines on their own continued the war, and wiped out all humanity in process. That not stopped them from destroying all other the galaxy though =) Leftothers of humanity tried their best, reversed engeneered the machines, and try to fight back to take galaxy back. They are known as Legion now =)
Great cast! Thanks for rolling it back so we can witness the yellow commander get popped. And yes, as your sharpshooter x-ray targeting computer example, i also have my headcanon about these units, lol.
Intrusion detectors on frontline get a lot more popular in average 30+ OS lobbies since people start using spybots a lot there. In other words, units used define the counters used. Sheldon balls good -> people start using spybots -> people start countering spybots with spam/detectors.
Playing the blame game won’t make you any better. It’s funny to me that people are compelled to talk in chat once they’ve been cleaned off the map but can’t be bothered to plan or communicate prior to dying.
Honestly the difference in 25OS seems to be one's ability to consistently scale up economy and BP. Blue and Red being good example in this one. Build winds up, make converters, use that to go into T2 and fus/afus. Maybe blue went a bit too quick into afus with unreliable wind, a few fus first might have given the stability required. Maybe butlers since he was arm to continue windfarms closer to opponents while reclaining bot right corner farms, building bp and starting up fus/afus there. Not a lot of space on this map.
Nothing more satisfying to reach the point in the match where frontlines stabillize. When I m ahead I tend to freeze my front and opt for reinforcing defensive positions with preferably a pair of pulsars covering eachother. And should the opponent be doing that or something similar I almost always opt for Artillery or Vanguards.
When will people learn to stop being a victim and put some AA in their base? It's a really cheap solution to shutting down any air aggression yet nobody does it smh
Because a little AA does not go a long way. You might stop a little bomber raid, but not before they hit you, it won't even tickle a proper bomber squad of 20+, and if you build a lot of AA then you don't have enough metal to do anything else so the air player has done their job without firing a shot. AA in BAR means a hundred fighters. The static AA is niche.
@@DaniRadriendilFair point. I will say though that forward screening T2 AA can do a great job of helping shape aerial engagements. Having the AA farther ahead stops the lone bomber squads from getting to drop a payload, while also providing a ton of value if they push their fighter screens forward first and you engage them there. It's still niche, but static defense positioning is so much more important because they are static.

Absolutely stellar play, man
Perfect example of why jammer bots are the shit. That was a bonified bad ass move there man. 8)

So much to keep track of in all these 8v8s! Would love to see a Small Teams match this week. :D
I saw a couple submissions.

I thought blue was gonna carry, but then green just ends the game before blue can do anything substantial
The armada bomber was able to kill the metal exteriors from the wind turbine explosions

00:30 oven pilot light pov of baking tray of food that was forgotten n now has mold.
I wonder about blue economy also, but when you lock end game graph it's another level

More Brightworks :)
SaiyanSC's agitator only firing for short periods of time was unfortunate for him 😢

My favorite are Shuri beggars as if they grow from trees.

14:00 listening to BW describe damage with a "brrrrrst" like a rapid fire "brrrrrrrrrrrp"
surprised that there wasnt any cerberus use/abuse
damn... total annihilation got some updates since last time i played
Gotta love the lowest OS players complaining about being set back and that their plans were doomed because of their teammates.
So much negativity.
