A good breeder always gets the first shots before letting the pups go. You need to take her as soon as possible to get the shots and get a good checkup to be sure she is healthy. I also suggest you train them to pee pads. Saves the carpet and don't have to take them out to bathroom in rain or cold or heat. Can still take them for walks. It only took our new puppy about 2 weeks to fully be using the pads. She is a yr now and never has accidents off them.
I had small dog kennel for about 10 years USDA and State License even. 5 dachshund and 2 Chihuahua when I sold pups I had a pile of paper work for each puppy. I gave the first 2 puppy shots at my home. I don’t understand why or how some breeders don’t give shots before selling.
If the pup hasn't had her shots yet it can be dangerous to have other dogs around. They can carry diseases that will harm the puppy. Puppies can get parvo from just being outside that's why you're supposed to limit they're time outside. Purely considered for the puppy since mine got parvo. It's so incredibly sad.
The puppy should’ve been taken to the vet before being socialized with the other dogs because the puppy could’ve been carrying something, especially if the lady who sold pebble to you was sketchy. Unfortunately many people breed their dogs just for the money & inbreeding is more common then it should be. Certain illnesses can also be hidden and not be visible. I’d recommend taking pebbles to the vet ASAP.
In parks where dogs go because you don't know if they have had their shots. The dogs will be best friends. Love each other be nice when the puppy gets older to take them to doggie training.
I highly recommend crate training. I had 4, 2 Poms & 2 Shih-tzu’s and we kept the door open when at home and as soon as they saw we were going somewhere they all went to their own room. We gave each a kong ball with a treat or PeanutButter inside and they looked forward to that. It sure saved a lot of chewed up shoes, furniture, electric wires etc. especially during their teething stage. When we were at home since we left the doors open we’d find them in their own room sleeping. It was their own little sanctuary. BTW, I dearly love Pugs. Nothing better than Puppy breath and Puppy love 🧡🐾🐾🧡🐾🐾🧡
She’s adorable and I’m happy y’all got her but at the same time I really wish y’all as a whole family would educate yourself on ethical breeders and go through them when getting your dogs instead of some random person who’s just breeding dogs with 0 health testing such as OFA Hips and elbows and eyes which should always be done before the parents are bred no matter what! While it’s more expensive than your typical backyard bred puppy it’s absolutely worth it in the long run because you’re ensuring you’re getting a that’s healthy and temperamentally sound! Best of luck to y’all with her but it always worries me!

In my opinion, I wouldn't have the cages for those dogs. No water and food inside...what if they are thirsty and trapped inside without whoever knowing it. One story about the white dog...looks like a friendly pitbull... the owner asked to watch her dog while she is out of town for a week and paid. The dogsitter did not do it after the owner flew away, put the dog in a cage, brought it to the frozen basement of the apartment building without lights on, abandoned it without food and water in the darkness, and disappeared. The owner called the dogsitter and wanted to see how her dog doing....the dogsitter lied and said her dog is good, well fed, and all. It made the owner feel happy and relieved....so she returned from her vacation....walked into her apartment, looked around for her dog, and never found it. She called the dogsitter about her dog. The dogsitter responded and said she does not know where. It blew the owner off and screamed Where is her dog?!!!...the dogsitter ignored and hung up on the owner...the owner went crazy and worried sick....kept looking for her dog for several days... she called the landlord about it. The landlord said he saw the dogsitter pulling the cage down to under somewhere...not sure exactly where? he believed it is under the building.... the owner and her good friends got frightened....ran to the strange door...like rusty door....she opened the door, saw the extreme dark....no lights...smelled bad, turned the flashlight on, stepped downstairs to the basement, turned the flashlight to the point where her dog was, shocked to see her dog being sooooo skinny and boney....trapped in a cage for a week and several days....she sobbed so hard, ran, opened the cage, pulled her weak dog out, and carried her upstairs to a vet.. the cage I HATE!.. Yes 8 week old puppies should come with papers, microchip and first vaccinations done if the breeder is proper! As other people have said until puppies are vaccinated they should not be around older dogs (except your one) because you do not know if other dogs carry disease or are vaccinated. Here in Aus 3 months is the standard to keep puppies at home, away from other dogs and parks that way they’ve have all their baby shots first. Oh so shes older so you’ll have to worm her straight away, and vaccinate immediately for her own protection and for Mella too.
@@dearleah7299 did you scroll to have a go at someone? My comment does not insinuate that I am a vet, it does say what a responsible breeder should do with puppies, as do many of the comments on here that say exactly the same. There is no need for meanness on this channel so please don’t be.
They are so cute. Good advice you might want to have them fixed or they may argue alot when they are in heat. By the way if any say something about the being in crates ignore them people who have a problem with it they don't understand why people use crates at night in my opinion they like dogs poop in their house and step in it or want them to tear up stuff in the house like they are rich. My ❤️ melted with them playing
Wait what? So if you don't use a crate, you will step on poop? No. No you won't if you take the time training your dog and take them out for walks several times a day. Putting dogs in crates shows nothing else but laziness and ignorance.
@Moose you can train them and they still can have accident but yes your right. I was getting at is to not let people who judge or have negative comments about crates. I understand some don't like that but some dogs do have a little dare devil and chew on something you don't want them to even with training.
@Moose and I'm not saying when they are trained I ment before they are trained. Another good thing is feed then hours before bed time and that will also cut down on the possible accidents. I agree with you though. I do have mine crate trained for bed and when I have to leave I don't want mine to get something of mine and possibly choke or get sick. I have dogs that like to get into things out of spite lol
Super cute!!! Don’t pay any attention to the people on here who are negative and think they have a right to judge and tell you what to do. Their opinions don’t matter even a little bit!!!
How are you gonna learn things if you never get negative feedback on the stuff you're doing wrong? People in here are giving them negative feedback for a reason. I still don't understand why they keep getting "purebred" dogs from a Walmart parking lot with no vaccination, no papers, nothing. This is another puppy mill dog who might be carrying whatever diseases and they took her to see other dogs right away without knowing anything about the pup. They got all the means to do things right, but yet they always take the easy way out.
@@Moosemonni Well, you don't need to understand why they do what they do because it's really not your business. This is a decision they made for their family....and really, your opinion and whether you agree with it or like it or not is irrelevant. They are excited about their new puppy and they shared a video about her. They aren't required to "learn" anything from negative feedback given by strangers on the internet who have no personal knowledge of this dog or their lives. If you don't agree with their decisions then don't watch.
@@kristenriedel7593 Yeah and that's exactly the same when your parents try to teach you a life lesson and you just ignore that. At some point of your life you realize that you should have done exactly how your parents told you. When multiple people are telling you the same thing and you just find an excuse why you're doing completely opposite, then I think it's time to do some self-examination. Also, why would we have to agree with their decisions and just nod and be quiet, when some of their decisions could set others in danger? I'm talking about the other dogs to who they introduced their unvaccinated puppy. Or the fact that the dog didn't come with any sort of documentation of its health or the parents health. Especially with this type of breed that has more health problems than a welsh corgi.
I actually think you and the dogs would be better off, if you put them in the big kennel together. And just let the doors to both be open, so they have the option of being together or apart. Dogs like compani that's why they make good pets.
The only problem is that Mella thinks it’s play time if the kennel is open and won’t sleep so we put them apart and if they can’t sleep then we put them together
Mella think it is playtime, because you and Savannah are moving arround and getting ready for bed. Once you settle down and switch off the light, she will too. Like when she laid at your feet, when you play games every evening. In my family we have always had dogs, but we have never ever put anyone of them in a kennel. And we have never had any issue with them not settling down at night. It isn't natural for a dog to sleep alone, it is a punishment not to be allowed to sleep with the rest of the pack.
What do you clean Mella’s wrinkles with? I’m a pug owner as well (well, I’ve been without for a year now 😔) and I always used alcohol-free baby wipes for sensitive skin with no fragrances. They always worked really well and are a lot cheaper than the wipes made for dogs.
Congratulations on the expansion of your family with Pebble. All I wanted to say is, that for sanitary reasons, te breeder should have hadher shots. But you must have been overwhelmed with all the advices. Enjoy your babies and be happy. Btw: please try not to speak at the same time commenting or with your mouth covered. Thanks. Much love 🥰

@@Moosemonni your opinion is irrelevant. They didn’t ask.
@@dearleah7299 I didn't ask your opinion either and here you are again. Come back to Reddit too, we miss you Dear Leah.
I was confused because when something "falls through" it doesn't happen or work. Your new pug is cute!!
Be careful with toys unsupervised in the crates, they can choke. Otherwise, congrats on the new puppy!
Such a beautiful story 💗
Oh my gosh!!!!! Congratulations on another pug, you two! Pugs are the best, and Mella will be so happy to share her home with. So adorable!!! ❤️
They both so adorable I just luv em
Welcome to the family Pebbles
Mella will probably be very protective of Pebble
The new puppy is so cute
Both dogs are so cute puppy’s feisty think it’s going to be boss they be great mates
@@Moosemonni they have a vet that gives them educated advice. You’re not their vet.
@@dearleah7299 Aww. I'm sorry you got upset about my comment to someone else. Hope you will get over all this. I know you're their number one fan!
Oh my cuteness congrats!!
@@alexpettit596 deffently keep them separate until pepple is a bit big
Mella think it is playtime, because you and Savannah are moving arround and getting ready for bed. Once you settle down and switch off the light, she will too. Like when she laid at your feet, when you play games every evening.
In my family we have always had dogs, but we have never ever put anyone of them in a kennel. And we have never had any issue with them not settling down at night.
It isn't natural for a dog to sleep alone, it is a punishment not to be allowed to sleep with the rest of the pack.
@@nikkichops they know what they’re doing
@@brittajensen1479 they didn’t ask for your opinion.
Pebbles is my tea cup Chihuahua name 😊
Alex that dog of yours is so cute
Yayyyyy congratulations on a new pug
Thanks. Much love 🥰
One can not have too many pugs❤
