No it cannot exercise the powers of unlimited jurisdiction, unless there is a precedent of similar case.
Very strange that the anchor (who is also an advocate) and Mr. Gopala Krishna (a renowned advocate) says that the encounter is correct. Ironically for their convenience quoted a couple of cases where the accused is a culprit, by this do they mean that all accused will be culprits? Do they not remember the case of Manohar in Ayesha Meera case? Do they not understand the basic concept of justice in India (mere confession is not sufficient). Strange that Mr. Gopala Krishna is also talking in the same terms. Secondly, the anchor is saying that they accused raped and murdered the lady (My sympathies to that lady), she being in the media did not listen to the confession made by the wife of Chennakeshava, that this person is a kidney patient and he had become sexually weak for the past one year? So, according to me this particular interview is biased and other videos of her and Mr.Gopala Krishna are all informative. We need to understand that instantaneous justice is not good in any situation.
Absolutely correct. He should be ashamed of calling himself an advocate. I had some kind of respect for him based on his previous interviews but this is appalling. As a civilization, we have to move out of tribalism and kangaroo courts. One of the accused has kidney issues and can't be with a woman physically, how could have raped that girl? If he was an accomplice, not a perpetrator, he got the same "justice" as others that is death. This is wrong at so many levels.
@@callravik Perfect sir. At the same time I think we are not supporting the criminal act of rape and murder. There should be proper inquiry and then decide. The role of police is to investigate and submit to the court and not decide who is wrong and right.
Law & Constitution were taken from the English and European countries. Not applicable in India (from Andhrapradesh)
