Here we go again. He was on fire not too long ago!! Now we can’t even get the ball to him. The problem goes back to when Touray was playing at start of season and we couldn’t get up the pitch quick enough. When he got injured we start to fly, now he’s back, doesn’t take a genius. Needs dropping ASAP.

Well said Dave. I think the players need to have these comments read to them today. Since you came in I have never seen a performance from a County team that inept. We had a team in the National North that had more fight and more about them than that shower of cow dung last night. Those players and I mean every player that entered that pitch need to ask themselves if they want to stay, if they want promotion and if they want to be football league footballers. Because nothing I saw last night showed me that any of them has what it takes. They didn't work hard enough for a start and that's the least supporters expect. You want the backing of the fans. I will do that IF I see the players working there socks off.

But for me, we need to play with wingers, we play for crosses way to much and it’s really our only threat when on attack, play a 442 push Macca forward, use Miles when he’s back on that left side.
It also blows my mind, why we are playing Croasdale in a cup game if he’s carrying an injury, we have CJ on the bench who would of been capable last night to do a job for 60 minutes
Watched every game via stream. You're right. So, so predictable... Constantly looking to get it out wide to cross it in. Teams are sussing us out big time

Well said Dave, how embarrassing to watch a team who just didn't turn up. I can't even pick out a player who put 50% in never mind 100%. It proves the players out injured are sorely missed but the players last night have an opportunity to grab that place as their own and they couldn't even do that.

Bang on there from Chally, it was a display of going through the motions knowing we were lost. This is what County have been doing now for a few games, a lot of possession with no impact then losing to a fast & better attack. We need a complete overhaul of the teams approach & where that comes from is down to them & Dave. This is a sure fire way to drop down the league if the team can't find a way. One or two players up front need to be a bit hungrier & accept that winning is about wanting it more.
Love this guy to be at Preston North End. His managerial stats are amazing wherever he’s been.

Read all the comments.. can’t disagree with any of them. just to add! With all the injuries I think the team has been ripped apart and this is the knock on effect! We are missing key players in the middle of the park. It’s not good! We need to get behind the team more than ever Now!!!
Spot on as usual, Dave! We looked utter wank last night. Absolutely embarrassing. How can we go from such a fantastic run as deserving league leaders gunning for promotion, to relegation form? What the hell has happened?! The players need to wake up because right now we're still top, but if we don't get our form back we won't be there for long. Aldershot wanted it more than we did last night and they embarrassed us. But they are NOT the better team. We should have won, if we had our better form we would have won. Our players need to sort their shit out, it's not good enough at all. I know we will turn it around, but we need a win on the weekend to try and get the form back 🤞

I expected better from county, the frustration from DC and the fans is more worry for the season than last night. We know how you are feeling right now and it is annoying when the opposition don't give due respect, but it's also a reflection on our nose dive of form that we are unfortunately too focussed on that instead of give credit to yourselves. We are angry at the performance. We are far better than we were last night and of late.

Sounds like we’re lacking leaders on the pitch, especially Sarcevic. You’d expect other senior players to step up though. Big role here for Paddy, and Powell if fit. The team weren’t terrible individually but it felt like they were going through the motions collectively.

Not one bit of credit to Aldershot who went toe to toe with you in both games. Funny how nothing was your fault either DC, you pick the team and you choose the tactics. I used to have a lot of time for Stockport when you were in the National League, you have some good fans too. strange how one interview can change my view of things.
It's not his job to be concerned with Aldershot, or any opposition, in terms of heaping praise on them. He's too busy being upset with his OWN team, his own players, his own job. Try not to let that self-mindedness change your entire view of Stockport County. Aldershot did well, we all know that, it goes without saying - they've knocked out EFL opposition and are through to FA Cup Third Round. Kudos to them. But in a post-match interview having watched everything he's worked on with the players not come to fruition because - as he puts it - they were miles off it, then he's going to be solely focused on that in the aftermath. All the best for the rest of the season mate.👍

Not the best performance I've seen us play given Aldershot had a gameplan and they deserved to win it, injuries are a big problem and I still think we might need to spend in January starting with those who are out for the season, I don't believe we're out of the title race just yet but injuries are a big issue right now. I really do think we need to regproup and beat Sutton Utd and go on from there

The players should be ashamed of themselves, it was lacking commitment in defence midfield and in some cases upfront. Strange thing is Camps had a good game for parts but then disappears for some reason, why was he trying to play fancy through balls to MSH when we have the fastest player on the pitch in Tanto, why not try playing it through to him. Aldershot looked stronger in some area's thats not good for future games.

Bitter much! I actually had a weird feeling even after watching this guys odd interviews from the first game and really wonder who does this guy think Stockport are? A massive 2,000 odd home fans last night. Hardly big boy material compared to Aldershot and I thought we outplayed you comfortably over the course of 180 minutes.
Will look forward to bookmarking this page and tuning into these interviews if the promotion wheels continue to fall off

Exactly. He knows what's he's doing so that when they beat Sutton he will take the plaudits for "turning it round" and "seeing a reaction" but let's be honest, there's a reason Stockport Notts and Wrexham are top of League 2 after coming up from the National League, and there's a reason Aldershot have beaten Stockport Swindon and Sutton this season.
Winning 2 games doesn't make you a good side, performing over the course of a full season does.

Absolutely guarantee that if we had a full squad with players like Louie Barry on the pitch we would have absolutely bummed you, lad. Our form has gone to utter shit. We battered Wrexham 5-0 not long ago. That's the team we have been so far this season. You were lucky to get us in our shit form because if you had us in our good form you wouldn't have seen the match out. Well done to yous but Dave knows what's up and he knows we should have beat you as we ARE the better team. Check our recent results and you will see how good our form was and now how shit it's gone of late.

We will never know. I'm sure you are a better side with a fully fit squad, as most teams are. We have injuries too don't forget. We are just asking for a little bit of credit, you don't put 7 past swindon and beat the best side on paper in league 2 over 2 games with being at least half decent.

Dave give them the hairdryer. Terrible performance. Are they tired physically and mentally? And to be on national TV and play like that. Most of us work hard for our money so we can follow the boys but last night was a total disgrace. However, Aldershot were first to everything, pressed us for 90 mins and clearly wanted it more. At least we are out of all the cups so we can focus on winning the league. Let's get it done.

But give credit where credit is due, Aldershot had a game plan, press high, don’t let Stockport settle on the ball or play out from the back!! It’s called tactics, as a manager it’s up to you to adjust yours!!!

Aldershot deserved the win and played well. However, let's not pretend it wasnt influenced by us not being anywhere near good enough. We went 13 wins in a row only a few weeks back. We are top of the league and Wednesday was atrocious

That’s an absolute disgrace of an interview, you are a very good side there is no doubt about it, but we were outstanding all over the pitch, everyone to a man done there job to levels above, we were extremely well organised and caused you a lot of problems, I think we would be a problem to any team in league 2, we may even be up in league 2 next season, you were beaten by a quality side who had you on the ropes in both games, give us some credit, see you next season 😂😂 🟥🟦🟥🟦
