Ha! Oh I know what you mean :) But weirdly all this work is "passionate work" so it's fun which can be, maybe not relaxing , but invigorating ha!

Beth, I only discovered you about a month ago, and I’ve been bing-ing all of your videos, going back to 10 years ago! As I’m sure others have told you over the years, your personality is so very delightful, and “real”- so sincere! One of the things I really like about your style and videos is how you repeatedly use your many props. This is how people really live, using our well loved items, over and over, in different ways, with different recipes, as well as different seasons. While it is fun to buy new things, my soul really smiles when I see you using what you already own.
Your recipes are easy, and delicious, and watching your party videos at your LA and France homes has been my favorites. Please continue inspiring and bringing your special joy to us all. Can’t wait to put my hands on your cookbook!❤

The recipes sound really good. I love how you have collected things for serving and the garden looks great, especially the hedge and gravel. I was inspired by your kitchen garden a few years ago and designed my kitchen garden in the backyard with little rooms and spaces. I just saw this video after watching your Il de Re video "again". I hope your recipes will have a little french inspiration. Good luck with the cooking and shoot!

Ha! Yeah I can't decide about that crab platter, sometimes when I'm faced with a creative decision where I'm on the fence the best answer is "NO" LOL! But curious what the rest of the team will think about that ha! Could be a fun "cliff hanger" for the book. Did the crab platter make it in! Ha! :)

Afternoon tea with strawberry rhubarb tart or muffins would go well with the strawberry tea pot. You are a great stylist, and they will learn from you!
So much hard work! Everything looks great, right down to the clothing choices. I had my eye on that pretty teapot - I agree with your daughter! And I love the crab dish! How much fun is that!! I think it would look great in the photos all loaded up with crab legs (or a bunch of soft shell crabs) and sauces. Maybe I'm weird, but I pay a lot of attention to cookbook photos and love to see how things are styled. Unique pieces just add some visual excitement and attract my eye, making me think that's a recipe I want to try, even if it's outside of my usual.
Your garden looks absolutely beautiful!! I hope your chives stay in bloom for you and I'll hope for only gentle rains and soft breezes! But a lovely dry few days for shooting, of course. 😊

Cookbooks are my weakness…I have so many and love them…but had no clue what might be involved. I’m also overwhelmed at your collections…they’re all wonderful and you’re lucky to have storage room where stored but accessible when you want certain items which you do use when you plan your dinners. I’ve seen you in action in your videos and get nervous just thinking about the detail needed to entertain in the style you’re accustomed to…the clothes are scrumptious and love the shoes. This is all so exciting and love coming along for the ride…you have a knack for all of it! ❤️

Beth I tried the ECHO timer function which I had no idea about, so thanks! I am so excited about your cookbook and will definitely buy a copy. I've printed out a few of your recipes and put them in my recipe book over the past few years. Having your book will be so much better. I love the shoes and outfits you picked out too. Would you happen to have a link for the 2 metal storage cabinets you showed in the video? I really liked them and I'm interested in something like those for my basement. Anyway, exciting times ahead for you. Don't stress too much.
