Great video. I've never seen this issue in over 200 Sony Betamax machines that I've seen in the last couple of years. I wonder if climate might have something to do with it.

Thank you for the love of Betamax. I live in the U.S.A., and which brand of ferrite core adhesive do you recommend that I may find in America? I've searched online and all I can find is companies that list glues for certain applications but I am unable to deduct which glue is the one I need for this fix. Thank you and have a great day.
I have the same motor,. How to run it ? It has 5 wires (2 big, 2 medium, 1 small) and I dont know it's connection. Is it correct if power connection only 2 big wire? And only use simple DC for 24v maximum ?

! It is best to use ferrite core glue. Can be replaced with cyanoacrylate adhesive. I often use Scotch cyanoacrylate adhesive .

Oh , it is BLDC. 3 phase
It has ic, CX 879 . Need to jumper this ic to run motor .. i hope so.

@@romeoj387 Hi Romeo J ! 2 of them are the power supply , 2 are PG signal and one is speed control signal (error voltage from the servo circuit).
