It will work. You need to add water ( about 3/4 inch below the max fill line) to the dirty water tank. The water acts like a natural filter to collect dirt and fibers. I added about 5 drops of 100% eucalyptus oil to the water. Smelled so good. I was amazed how much suction the shark has. I read instructions, watch the shark videos, and clean my machine to look like new. I study things to get an understanding of how they work. I’m just letting you know it works for me. You be your own boss and make your own choices

We recommend putting the unit in Quick Dry mode after cleaning cycle to reduce dry time and turning on any available AC units or fans to help circulate air in the room.

Can you use this as a regular vacuum also? (Dry vacuuming for vinly flooring for example?) Looking for 2 in 1 as got both vinyl flooring and carpet

Mines not sucking up the water. Ive took it apart and cleaned it including the brush roll and still nothing. Only bought in january
