    Stjepan I just want to say that your thumbnails are very entertaining and are very high quality and I think I speak for everyone when I say that they are the best 😃

    I've been a huge advocate of the Noteboom, and this is just further proof that the opening is an amazing weapon against d4. If white messes up his attack, your past pawns will win you the game.

      yea, Noteboom is seriously annoying line. I always avoid this with 4. Qc2 just for practical reasons.

    Cool to see you're back on a roll after this tournament. Keep on the good work, I'm sure great things are just around the corner, especially with how hardworking you are! Also, on a side note, an English opening series would be greatly appreciated, once you have the time :)

    6:58 actually, after black Kd5;
    Bd7; f3;
    Knight can go to g4 and after h5 play e4, yes black have better position but he don't lose the knight

    Stjepan, I'm a fan, and a player. I'm not very strong, but I do plan to play for the rest of my life and will hopefully play some live tournaments when I'm able, thanks in part to your inspiration. Your videos are my favorite on youtube, certainly better than the other big chess channels.
    One piece of feedback, and you can take it or leave it: I don't find the segments wherein you explore engine lines interesting. They feel like dead space in the video, and they break away from the drama of the game itself and your thought process during the games.
    That said, your videos are excellent and I've learned a lot watching them, so thank you.

    Totally unfamiliar with this opening - your videos are always very instructive.

    I decided to take up the triangle system so looked at your Semi-Slav playlist, but it's not there. Any plans of rounding out that list with the Noteboom, Marshall gambit, etc?

    What's wrong with Bxe4 at 14:48?

    Maybe the b4 line after fxg6 is cut out of the engine analysis due to pruning

      i though for 10 minutes thinking "it can't be that easy, probably there is a stronger continuation for black" ahahah

    I agree. If my opponent "let's say, does nothing for the next 24 turns", I might be able to get a winning position.

    i thought about a5 a4 in that position simply because i didnt see anything better; one must push one's passed pawns. rook on h8 isnt very active, but where do you move it that it becomes more active?
