Make Guadalupe Storm petrel with paper.

Hello, I'm Platypupu.
Today's bird is the Guadalupe Storm petrel.
Guadalupe Storm petrel that only inhabited Guadalupe Island.
Guadalupe Island a volcanic island in Baja California Mexico 280km to the west.
Covered with soft soil where pine trees grow
750-760m above sea level in the north of Guadalupe Island.
They dug a hole on the slope and laid a spotted white egg one by one.
It was characterized by a faster breeding period than other Storm petrel.
The first threat to the Storm petrel was a goat brought in by humans.
Goats roam the mountains where Storm petrel live
ruined the nest.
But, what threatened the Guadalupe Storm petrel most
They were cats who came to the island.
Cats that entered Guadalupe Island annihilated about 40% of the native birds.
Among them was the Guadalupe Storm petrel.
Storm petrel making nests in ground and walking on the ground poor walking.
It became an easy game for cats.
Until 1906, scientists were said to have been able to hear Storm petrel singing.
But, only 5 years later.
The Guadalupe Storm petrel are all gone.
No one has seen the Guadalupe Storm petrel breeding on the island since 1912.
In 1922, 1925, and 1970 surveys
Scientists have found what cats have eat left behind.
It was only the feathers of the Storm petrel and the empty nest.
In June 2000, scientists once again investigated the island of Guadalupe,
We couldn't find the Guadalupe Storm petrel.
Scientists who observed the swallows heard their singing.
It's sounds like 'Here's letter, here's letter, for you for you'.
Here is the letter. It's for you.
The letter is still wandering after losing its addressee.

오리너굴님의 영상을 보면 세상에는 다양한 새가 있고 그 새들이 전부 다르게 생겼다는 점을 실감할 수 있어서 너무 좋은 것 같아요! 개인적으로 관심이 많은 분야였는데 이렇게 영상으로나마 볼 수 있어서 대리만족도 되고요. 사실 워낙 잘 만드시다 보니 새가 아니어도 홀리듯 보고 있을 것 같긴 해요. 다음 영상도 기대할게용

평면의 종이가 입체가 되어가는 과정이 신기합니다. 날개깃의 구조 같은 건 참고하려고 그림을 봐도 어디랑 이어지는 건지 헷갈리는 부분이 있었는데 과정을 보고 아 이런 식으로 되어있겠구나 이해할 수 있으니 좋네요..
