This is a great review, helped me decide to try to get the gloss finish over the matte finish, do you think it's worth it to upgrade from the layflat hardcover to the premium layflat hardcover? All of them are around 75% on sale right now
Can you maybe make a comparison of the fotobook offers in terms of "best editor" and "best quality" or maybe a chart which lets us find the best option most easily? Guess that would generate you some hits ;-)
So wierd, I recently made a book using snapfish from the American website and I did not see any paper options when doing my book. I guess i just got the standard paper, but I would totally have upgraded if I saw a different paper choice.
I am wanting to create a photo book of my watercolor paintings. They are pet portraits and I think I would choose the A4 portrait size with lay flat hardcover, illustrious finish , no gloss. Do you think it would show off watercolor photos well?
[Appended below original comment] I've got one Snapfish book in hand, and another ordered but a week or two away from delivery. Looking through your videos, it seems this company is not one of your favorites. If I keep watching your videos, maybe I'll be persuaded to try a different firm for my 3rd book. For the book on order, I went for the Premium Lay Flat, which is hingeless. I am concerned about the crossovers becoming creased/cracked with repeated page turns. Guess I'll find out soon enough. Good videos! EDIT, a few days later. I ordered the second book on Christmas Eve, while the office was closed. And, they didn't reopen until 12/27, three days later. They have a policy regarding order changes & modifications, apparently cast in stone. No changes of any kind after 60-minutes of placing your order (even if they're closed), and that includes changes to the shipping method even though the product won't be ready to ship for 3-days. I paid no attention to method of delivery when I placed my order. But, when the expected delivery date of January 5th popped up I realized my mistake and immediately wanted to upgrade shipping and take delivery sooner. Because of the holiday, it was three days before I could speak with a customer "service" representative, who lied when she told me English was her primary language. I explained my situation and that I wanted to pay more for expedited shipping. There's no wiggle room, the rule of 60 minutes stands, you can not upgrade shipping on an item that will take (by their estimate) three more days to produce. I hope the other photo book providers are not this inflexible! I certainly plan for this to be my last Snapfish book.

The standard hardcover is now only $6 USD!! I think it's only temporarily so no clue how long that'll last, hopefully into holiday season

I would choose and art paper or textured paper or deep matt
Would I be able to share an album before ordering it? If so, how would I share it?
