You NEVER change 1 pair of pads in a shop because then the car would brake uneven. And also when you buy new pads you get 2 pairs (front/rear brakes) :)

You didn't need to hold the LMB/RMB on the lifter controls in order to use it, you could either click it or hold it
I wonder if you'll be able to grind xp by completely taking apart customer cars and putting them back together, In 15, for me, was the fastest way to gain xp in the start.

There is a feature in 2017 were if you hold shift and click it will sell it without you having to click on sell on every Item

How do you change camera in the car to behind the car when driving? I have trouble changing brakes I can never put brake calipers on what am I doing wrong? What does rim lots mean I get that when I go to put brake calipers on? I get no parts to work with when I do ?
+TheAtvman88 camera change "C" key. I'm not sure the other issues you are having with the calipers. I just put them on and it adds and removes the way it is supposed to. Sorry I can't be more of a help. 😞
It never happens like that because brake pads are only sold in sets. They would be charging you for a set of front brake pads either way, so they would just be ripping you off if they only changed one side.
My game is bugged, when I star new game I already have all the upragrades, it says a have -39 skill points and I have the best garage in game
I’ve heard that one of my brake pads was messed up..... a piece of metal from a recent crash (I was not involved) got wedged in my brake and threw itself at 60 mph into my brake pad and cracked it.... they took me into the shop to show me cause they couldn’t believe it either.
I was hyped for this for nearly a month, had my 30 euros, I either bought this or PUBG
But I saw all the optimization bugs, so I decided to buy PUBG, also watching this video, it was a good choice

Alright so I have cms 15 and love it. I've been waiting for this game. Now that it's out I see all the bad reviews and that it's crashing and all. I heard it doesn't get good fps even with a GTX 1080. Is this true? I have a 1060 and don't want to be let down.

DieselDesigns Gaming agreed, there have been some annoying things for me such as purchased parts disappearing and such but after multiple patches day 2 is already much better than day 1. They are working hard.
Should I get car mechanic simulator 2018, I don't have a beefy computer but I could run cms15 on high graphics with no problem.
I loved the video but I did bash my face into my keyboard twice.

I'm on vacation and I only have my laptop, but I want to play this game at some time. I'm not sure if I should buy it while it's on sale (only 10%), and possibly get disappointed because of bad performance/gameplay (on my gaming PC, at home), or if I should wait until I arrive back at my house to see further impressions of the game, to see if the experience deteriorates after a while or becomes boring.
I trust your judgement, what do you think I should do?

It's not a gaming laptop, I only brought it here because it's easy to transport. It doesn't have a dedicated graphics card, and it doesn't come close to the minimum required settings for the game (through Steam)

I have a problem with building a new engine (for a car bought from a barn), its a V8, i can build the whole engine from repaired or store bought parts, but i can not find an oil fill plug (or oil cap), and if i want to remove it from an alredy existing engine (with crashed block), the game freeze and i must exit with alt+F4. I have the same issue after the 1.0.2 patch, anybody can solve this mystery for me?
How exactly he managed to reach that ABS module without pulling the whole engine out?
my first play of this, i was lost, and it was also a tire job, i moved the oil thing, and accidentally drained it without knowing, and started wondering why i couldnt unscrew the oil plug, then i unscrewed the oil pan with no penalty not knowing it was already empty, so i thought it was a bug, so when the next 2 oil changes came in, i didnt drain them and got the penalty, 1 of those was a tire job, the other was a timing related job that didnt have a list of items that needed replaced, and the last part was a radiator issue which i found after taking the whole engine apart from the top down, because logic says the radiator has to to with a cars timing....
then after i unlocked the junkyard, i bought an old classic Truck ....turns out there is a part for that car that cant be bought in the computer, not sure if that's intended so you have to scavenge the junkyard and repair the part but the car is useless to me without that part (it was a front exhaust section 16B)
What course should i shift to if i want to be a car mechanic? My parents forced me to take civil engineering even though i dont want it.
Gnome Child No. 1627 you'd need to research tech schools near you. The ones near me in El Paso, TX are like 15 months long. From what I understand they don't have other courses like civil engineering might. Just the mechanic course

I think it's funny the comment you made about your first time playing this game how you didn't know anything going on. I'm sure you did a lot better than most people I just watched this guy for three different episodes half hour apiece he spent an hour and a half inside the tutorial garage thinking it was his garage even after reading the beginning message telling him he is inside a tutorial and if he wants to leave all she needs to do is take the car for a test drive so you know what he does he starts restoring the car I actually couldn't believe my eyes LOL this guy had so many screws loose and his own head it was ridiculous and then when people told him he was in the wrong spot he wanted to argue with his dream 3 videos later he apologized to all of his members but continue to restore the car in the territorial area I was like OMG you just apologize to everyone because they were right but yeah you're still going to sit here and fix something that is completely useless all you have to do is take it for that test drive but then I realized somehow he was able to sell the car he needed to take for a test drive so he basically broke the game but they gained was still letting him play I don't know it was all kinds of ass backwards
You can balance the tire you don't need to buy a new 1

Affirmative as an service mechanigo I can tell you that is a common practise - every time I change oil, I change an oil filter too but this is just a game and I would guess that it is a waste of money to give a car something surplus that customer did not want.. But in the other hand maybe you get a bonus for doing that (changing that filter)..
Pavel Jelínek is it safe to change the oil filter AFTER the oil change its self? I made the mistake (in real life) of forgetting an oil filter and I had already changed the oil in my truck This is my first time mistake
Automotive Guru you I'm kinda confused with your question but if you change oil and forget to change your oil filter.. Well, I guess it may happen but not sure what would that done since this never happened to me.. I would guess that for this time its ok but next time change it OR you can always change it /just drain oil first, change filter and put that oil back..

On most cars you're going to lose a good bit of oil that you'll need to replace if you remove the filter after having already filled it with oil. But there is absolutely nothing unsafe about doing it.
And it makes far more sense than either draining the oil completely again and starting over or neglecting to change the filter at all until your next oil change.
