A Choir! of 500 in Seattle sings “Hallelujah”

- Back in 2019, we did a cool gig in Seattle at a church called St. Mark's Cathedral. Very last minute the promoter decided to film it and we made this video that, for some reason, never got released. Now that we’re bringing back “Hallelujah”: An EPIC Anthems Sing-Along!, we thought we’d share this special moment with all of you. #NeverStopSinging

I was there and left a changed person. What an incredible experience to share with a room full of strangers.
My special needs younger son sang voluntarily at our church’s Christmas Eve party when no one else volunteered!! Pastor quickly helped w/piano n supported his valiant courage n mom also sang together…! Melting everyone

I found this yesterday morning. I was the 47th person to watch it. I sent it to many people and they sent it to others. It was a beautiful day all day and I thank you for that day. You were all amazing. I want to sing in one of these choirs. I’m still watching it and singing it. It’s on my tongue. I live in Allen, Texas. We have a small event center. We also have a beautiful park. Celebration Park. Really nice outdoor setting. I wish you’d come this direction. I’m sure you’d attract a following. I’m doing my best to get this video out. I know it’s in Greece because I sent it to a friend. Simply beautiful.

I was there and it was AMAZING! Who would ever think that the Hearn Generating Station, a decommissioned electrical generating station would be an appropriate venue for a Choir!Choir!Choir! event, but the reality is that it is the magic of these two guys (and guest Rufus Wainwright) that made it an unforgettable experience. Don't ever pass up the opportunity to experience it for yourself. I've been to many of these gatherings, big and small, and they are so uplifting!

This song always reminds me of Samson and Delilah, ‘cause Delilah cut Samson’s hair which was his strength. He lost his strength from then on. Can’t remember the rest of the story though.

I love this song! I've heard it sung by various people. There's one lady that sounds so sweet when she sings this. I have to say, though, I don't like this one. This is just my opinion. But this sounds too loud and jumbled to me. It sounds better when it's sung in a softer tone. This, to me, just sounds very loud and not very harmonious. I'm not a singer, so, again, this is just an opinion. I just didn't feel it at all. Like too many people talking at one time with no harmony, just yelling out words. Sorry. This is not a 'put down' just an observation by a 'non singer.'

Where are the male voices.....disappointed.
They typically divide room into sides or, if needed, single out just a group that can go much higher or lower. As this song didn't really need highs or lows they just divided us into two large groups. The audience was incredibly diverse but if you'd like more male voices in the mix you should attend a CCC and bring all your guy friends with you!
