Downtown KC is growing at the fastest rate I've ever seen, everytime you look up, developers planning, you build the population density up, and everything else follows, retail, entertainment, and that's happening. We have small companies down there, the big ones just need to see more before they eventually want to be apart of something special, which I understand. Downtown KC has a bright bright future
+osamabindrinkin40s Denver is safer downtown wise and as a city in general. Plus downtown Denver is quite a bit larger than KC and busier so LoDo to me feels safe because it is always busy.
DJR5280 No its not!! Lodo might be the only safest place downtown Denver. And who cares if its busy somebody can just pull a gun out and shoot everyone!
Downtown Kansas City has come a lonnnng way, crossroads district, the cbd, new high rises and street car, new hotels planned, and new apts, downtown KC should reach a population of 30k by 2020, great city that's starting to live up to its potential
It's a cool little city... Great city to have a girlfriend. It's got other smaller cities like Kansas city, Ks, Independence and Olathe. So you can go out of Kansas city, mo once and awhile. Casino's, Clubs and Bars are all in Kansas city! It's not bad! From 1-10. I give it a 7
lacalonthe8s we do have tornado's out north during the summer

it's one of the cheapest places to live in the US there are some tornadoes once in a while but they usually veer off to the north or go way down south they are not common or strong enough to worry about
what skyline does St Louis have? I must've missed it when I drove through in November. All I seen was an arch. I think KC wins with the skyline but St Louis as a city is much more dense than KC
LMAO I hate KC. No offense but it's a boring city. St Louis also has a lame downtown area. It's like a ghost town. I stand by original comment that STL doesn't have a great skyline and the arch isn't anything special either.
Well balanced and organized skyline. Nice for its size.

Cool, but would be more enjoyable if set to music.
